Flashbacks - The Five of Them

"So... I'm meeting the others today?" Hitsuki tilts her head in anticipation.

"Yeah," Hiromitsu smiles. It had been almost a year since they had started dating. Surprisingly enough, the police academy didn't mind them that much.

"So... there's Date-san, Matsuda-san, Hagiwara-san, and then Rei-kun?"

"Yeah," Hiromitsu nods. "If they make you uncomfortable let them know, they're very respectful,"

"Alright," Hitsuki smiles. The two wander down to the shopping district and Hiromitsu excuses himself to use the restroom real quick. Hitsuki scrolls through her phone and excuses herself when she bumps into a person. "sorry!"

"Ah, she's cute!" The male gasps.

"We're not here to pick up girls Hagi, we're here to meet Hiromitsu-chan's girlfriend," Another male speaks up.

"Speaking of which, where is he?"

"In the restroom," Hitsuki hums. "Nice to meet you! I'm Hiro's girlfriend!"

"Ah!" The two males gasp. "Nice to meet you!"

"Nice to meet you all! Thank you so much for helping Hiro get over his trauma!" Hitsuki claps her hands together.

"Ah, there you all are," Rei runs up behind them all. "Nice seeing you again Hitsuki-chan,"

"Likewise Rei-kun," Hitsuki smiles.

"Where's squad leader Date?" Hiromitsu places a hand on Hitsuki's shoulder and pulls her in.

"Ah, I heard he's out on a date today," Jinpei sighs.

"How'd you two meet?" Hagiwara asks.

"A mutual friend of ours died," Hitsuki mumbles. "And then he and Rei-kun saved me from a terrible date!"

"Ah..."

"Was it...?" Rei asks.

"Yeah, it was," Hiromitsu mumbles. "Well anyway,"

"Any stories about the police academy?" Hitsuki pipes up.

"OH, You'll like this one," Jinpei pipes up. So they speak, and they chat, and they talk about the police academy and all of their stories until there's almost nothing left.

"He did?"

"Yeah! I didn't even know he could drive that well," Hiromitsu chuckles.

"yOOO teach me sometime?" Hitsuki grins.

"Sure," Hagiwara winks. Hiromitsu pulls Hitsuki in by the waist with a pout.

"No fair,"

"Pfft," Hitsuki laughs. "I'm still yours Hiro, I just gotta amp up with the driving,"

"Ah is that... squad leader Date?" Rei blinks at the male across the street.

"It is!" Jinpei snickers. "let's crash their date,"

"O-Oi!" Hitsuki gets dragged along with the other four and they grab Date.

"SQUAD LEADER DATE~"

"huh?" He and Natalie turn their heads and the four grin.

"Nice seeing you here! Is she your girlfriend?"

"Yeah," Date smiles. "Meet Natalie, my girlfriend,"

"How lovely!" Hitsuki pipes up. "Ah, Natalie-san is so pretty,"

"A-ah?" Natalie flushes red and Hitsuki beams.

"Teach me Natalie-senpai!"

"A-ah... hai!" The two laugh and Hitsuki takes the chance to steal Natalie away.
