Walking out of the airport Narcissa Malfoy had a bright smile on her face. She had just spent fourteen hours on a flight to New Orleans so that she can finally meet her granddaughter for the first time in seventeen years. Narcissa had always found it funny that both Draco and Hermione waited an extra year before allowing their children to start school. Draco had said that it would be better for Leo to have move people that he was familiar with in his class rather than one or two. Anyway, Narcissa was focused on seeing her granddaughter and the woman that she hoped to one day be her daughter-in-law.
Ever since Draco's eighth year and he had told her that he was dating someone she hoped that it was Miss. Granger. Although her husband believed otherwise Narcissa believed that her son knew what was best for him especially when it came to his love life. Narcissa always thought that Hermione would make a great addition to the Malfoy family. As she walked the streets of New Orleans she searched for the address she was given by her friend at Ilvermorny. As she neared the address she could only wonder how the two women look now both being seventeen years older and one of them Narcissa has never seen. Walking up the steps millions of thoughts flooded Narcissa's head. Knocking on the door she waited as she heard footsteps nearing the door. As the door open there stood a young girl with wavy ombre hair and brown-gray eyes. She was the perfect combination of both her parents.
"Whos there Myra?" Hermione asked as she walked towards to door. When she arrived the shock in her eyes was evident.
"Narcissa?"
"Hello, deary." Looking over at her mother Myra raised an eyebrow.
"Do you know this woman mum?"
"I am your grandmother Myra," Narcissus states looking fondly at Myra.
"Narcissa what are you doing here?"
"I will explain but I think it would be better if I can in so that we may chat."
"Of course. Myra let her inside please while I prepare some tea."
"As my mum said please come in, the living room is this way." Following Myra, Narcissa made her way to the living room before sitting down in a chair waiting for Hermione's return. As Hermione entered the living room carrying a tray of tea she saw the mother of the man she loves talking to her daughter about something.
"What are you talking about?"
"Mrs. Malfoy was just telling me happy birthday that's all."
"That's wonderful. Myra would you mind going over to Dylan's house for a bit while I talk to Mrs. Malfoy."
"Not at all, mum." following that Myra got up and left for her friend Dylan's house. The only two left in the living room were Hermione and Narcissa. Sipping at her tea Narcissa looked around the well-furnished living room waiting to speak. After a minute or two she finally spoke.
"Hermione dear I came all this way to finally get my granddaughter and her mother. Now then what have you been up to these past seventeen years?"
"I have been working alongside some of my friends here with their clothing business mainly designing and the financial part of the company."
"Sounds just like something you would be doing if I am being honest. How has Myra been these past seventeen years? From what I have heard she is very smart just like you and Draco."
"She is doing fine. What do you mean by what you have heard."
"All in due time Hermione all in due time."
