How did the war affect the world? The war took place in every part of the earth. It also made the worst nightmare come to life. There was nuclear fighting and due to that most of the earth now has ghost towns. Big patches, where due to radiations nothings can live or grow.

The earth is divided into 9 portions and every portion is as big as a continent. But we call our portion Sarvale.

Sarvale has 9 ghost towns and the two biggest ghost towns are as big as a country. There is nothing but destruction as far as the eyes can see. Grimville and Coldton are the two major ghost towns of Sarvale.

I kick the rock near my foot. It lands far away in the water.

After we landed in Nagos, I asked permission to wander a bit here and there. Because after this night, I'll be tied to responsibilities. I wanted some free time to myself.

And I found this beach, kind of a deserted beach because there is no one here. But the night beach looks mesmerizing.

I am sitting on the sand with my feet touching the water that comes up to the sand.

A loud sound startles me. I look at the left side where there are large boulders on the sand.

I see a shilloute struggling to their feet. My first instinct is to run the hell away.

I stand up and the figure falls roughly on the sand.
That was a hard fall. I hope they are alright.

Come to think of it, I am fighting for the victims of Sarvale but if I don't help one of the strugglings then what does that make me?

I swallow my fear.

It's not like whatever it is can kill me in this state. Plus I can just freeze their heart because there are no cameras here to witness my adventure.

I start walking towards the figure that is now getting up and leaning against the boulder while his long legs are sprawled on the sand.

I reach him and my hands start twitching.
What if I die tonight?

" Ahh... Are you alright Sir? " My voice comes out incredibly annoying.

I almost dived in the water but his head moves up.

His ash-brown curls are shadowing over his nose.

All I could see is his dry lips and sand is everywhere on his body.

" Go away. " He mumbles.
His voice is deeper than the water I was just about to jump into.

I gulp and look back and forth. Should I go?

" Are you hurt? I can help. " I try again.

It looks like he doesn't need or want your help.

I clear my throat awkwardly.

I move a bit back. " Are you afraid of me? " I question his shivering form.

If that giant is afraid of a tiny me then there is seriously something wrong.
