"why are you trying to make something out of nothing?" louis asked into his phone. "because you asked! why else would you ask if you didn't want a proper answer? did you want me to say no?"
harry sipped his drink awkwardly as he heard louis yelling in the other room. "fine! stay as long as you want!" louis said before hanging up the phone. he went back into the living room, and angrily sat back down on the couch.
"everything alright?" harry asked.
"yeah, yeah. just, eleanor asked me if she could stay longer because apparently her father got sick. i said that was fine, and then she started accusing me of why i wanted" louis put air quotes around wanted. "her to stay there and just.. sometimes she sees things that aren't there.."
harry nodded his and pulled his lips in a line. "i think that's called schizophrenia." harry joked, making louis smile a bit.
"i think that's the first joke you've ever made that was actually funny harold."
"anything to make you smile." harry said.
"what?"
"what?" harry asked. "i think this wine already got me a little."
