Burn

I wait here and see your face
All I can think is why the hate
You cut me down but I've had enough
You say I'm weak but I am tough

I've been around seen better days
Now I'm stuck lost in a maze
I told myself that I'd get you back
You wouldn't get away with that act

You hunt me down and deface my name
So I'll hunt you down with a bitter flame
You hunt me down through the poison rain

I'm not a villain just a victim
With a story yet to be told
You try to tear me down but
You no longer hold the crown

I've changed a lot you see
not just your ecstasy
I don't want to see the sun rise
Just want to hear you cry

You listen to my sirens
And you watch me burn
While I sit here and overthink
My every word
This won't be the last of me
Now it's my turn
I'll stand up so watch your back
I'll make you burn

I won't be the one who dies tonight
That'll be you, you lost the fight
