As I lay down quietly
I watch you thinking silentlyWe stay in each other's arm privately
but you are mine and I'm yours rightfullyYou may find it weird that I stare
but this look isn't just a glareI look at you and this feeling I know is rare
I can't help but think this is home; one that we shareI look at you and I see what you hide
You hold in the real you, and cover it with prideBut I see you for you, damage aside
and I love you for you, I can tell from the days I criedLooking at you, you look at me
You see mountains and I see the seaWe can't help but smile with glee
that we are here and we are freeEvery time im with you, I learn something new
As crazy as it may seem, this is trueTheir eyes don't see me like yours do
and that's why my heart resides with you
