The first day of school.
Ayano's POV
Osana...you'll be mine soon.
I listened to Osana and "senpai" talking outside of school. I finally learned that his name is Taro Yamada. Perfect. That's all the information I needed. But of course, I had to stay to sneak a few pics of Osana before leaving.
I went around making some "friends" and handing out compliments and doing favors for people who would be of help. I had to do this to get a good reputation so I could talk to the bullies.
Once in a while, I'd catch a glimpse of Osana and try to listen in on her conversations. I'd do anything just to see her and hear her voice. I even followed her to class and tried to get a seat next to her. Unfortunately, her friend Raibaru sat between us.
I found myself doodling during class. Something that wasn't really like me, but I loved Osana so I couldn't help but draw her all over my notes. My drawings and doodles didn't do her justice, but they were enough to keep my mind and hand occupied.
Hours passed. It felt like years. I wished that Osana was in the seat next to me, it wouldn't feel like forever. But the clock finally struck 1:00 and everyone left their seats.
Osana and Raibaru walked toward the stairs and I followed. They walked up to the rooftop where Osana met Taro and gave him some food.
"H-here!" she said holding out the bento box.
"What's this?" he asked.
"It's a bento stupid!"
"You made me lunch?"
"Don't get the wrong idea! I didn't make it for you, I just made too much food this morning. S-so you can have the extras!"
I felt my blood boil. That was a terrible attempt to hide her feelings. I wished that it was me she was cooking for. I would appreciate her cooking more.
"Wow! Thanks!" Taro said as he sat down with the bento.
"Just shut up and eat it!"
She crossed her arms and looked away as he opened the box and tried the food. She was blushing. I wondered what was going on inside that adorable mind of hers.
"Wow!" Taro exclaimed. "This is great!"
"R-really? Y-you like it? Senpai?"
"Of course! This is amazing!"
"That's right! You should be grateful. But don't expect me to keep giving you free food!" Then her tone softened. "Un-unless you...want to eat my cooking everyday."
"Hm? What was that?"
"I-I didn't say anything! D-dummy."
She then sat down to eat with him. I scoffed at the tsundere personality she put on for him. Her loud yelling covering her sweet responses that he clearly doesn't appreciate. I wondered if he actually had a hearing problem. How could I hear her speaking softly from 6 feet away but he couldn't hear it from a few inches away? Stupid.
But, at least I got a picture of her blushing during that conversation.
