Ayano's POV

Everything went better than I had expected. I didn't even know I'd already won Osana's heart. Still, I didn't trust Taro. I had to make sure that he wouldn't successfully try anything.

The next day, Osana walked to school with me instead of him. It made me feel so much better to have her by my side. Holding my hand.

The world was full of color and light. It was so beautiful and warm. I saw things how they truly were when I was with Osana.

Of course, I did happen to notice that Taro was following us. And I had to be sure that I'd ruined any chance he had left of stealing her from me.

"Osana? How do you feel about senpai after what's happened?" I asked.

"Ugh, that guy's a total creep! He could go jump off a cliff for all I care!"

That response was music to my ears.

"So you're no longer friends with him?"

"No. But that's okay. I still have Raibaru. And I have you now too. That's all that matters to me."

"Would you say that I'm your girlfriend now?"

Osana blushed at my question making me giggle.

"Yes," she replied.

I happily turned her toward me and kissed her. I didn't care what anyone else thought of us at that point. She was mine and that was all that mattered to me. Her lips were soft and I could tell she was smiling into the kiss.

When I pulled back, I admired her firey eyes and she admired mine. She was blushing and I could tell I was too.

"What the fuck-"

We both turned to seen a heartbroken Taro watching us. I couldn't help but smirk at my victory.

"Osana...you're gay?"

"And you're a disgusting pervert. Fuck off!"

She started walking again at a faster pace. I picked up mine so we would still be beside each other. I couldn't be happier.

"I love you Osana," I said as we reached street the school was on.

She smiled again. "I love you too Ayano."

We kept walking hand in hand until we reached the entrance. But this time when I let go of her hand, the grey didn't start to cloud the corners of my vision. And when I turned away from her to go to my locker, it stayed that way.

I'd never have thought the school was so beautiful. But it was. Not as beautiful as my lovely Osana. But still beautiful.
