Third Person POV
Ayano was pleased to sit next to Osana during class. But she still felt like she had a rival to defeat. Afterall, it was only Wednesday. So instead of focusing on the lesson or on her soulmate, she was schemeing. What to do next.
Kill. She thought. But that was just a thought. She wouldn't act on it. But she could still do something. And she did.
"I have to go meet with a friend," she told Osana after class.
"Oh, that's okay. Meet me at the gate when you're ready to go home."
They kissed and then parted. Osana and Raibaru headed to the gate just talking about whatever came to mind. Ayano walked upstairs and waited for her rival to appear.
And when he did, he didn't look happy to see her.
"What do you want Ayano?" he asked.
"Senpai, you're not happy for me and Osana are you?"
He sighed and tried to walk away. But since they were on the stairs, she took advantage to trip him and he went tumbling down.
"OW! FUCK!" he screamed.
"Are you okay senpai?" Ayano asked rushing down to his side.
"GET AWAY FROM ME!"
People started to whisper.
"Let me take you to the nurse," Ayano said trying to take his hand.
He objected. "NO!"
Of course, Ayano had earned a reputation as a sweet girl while giving Taro a reputation as a pervert. Who would everyone believe?
"Senpai, your head is bleeding. Please, let me take you to the nurse."
Taro instead got up and ran away. Wouldn't be long before the entire school was talking about him being a lunatic and an asshole who refuses to let anyone help him. And at the same time, everyone was sympathizing with Ayano. Afterall, it appeared that she was trying to be helpful to a student who was hurt.
And the next day, Taro was being tormented by everyone. The bullies couldn't even target anyone else. He was the talk of the whole school after what happened between him and Ayano.
"Why didn't you tell me he yelled at you for trying to help him?" Osana asked feeling angry toward her ex friend.
"I didn't want to see you angry," Ayano replied.
Osana's eyes softened and she hugged Ayano tightly making all the colors in the world more vivid as she usually did.
"I love you," Ayano said.
"I love you more," Osana replied.
"That's impossible. You can't love me more than I love you."
Osana giggled. "It's possible!"
"No it's not!"
"Yes it-"
Ayano kissed her before she could say anything else. What they had was special. They both knew it.
