Chapter 1
Clare p.o.v
I was lying on the bed, wide awake. I couldn't sleep all night. My friend Faraedan was in her room sleep. I quietly walked in her room. She woken up, immediately she grabbed the bow and arrow pointing at me. She doesn't like anyone going in her room while she's sleeping. Faraedan dropped everything.
Faraedan: Clare, why you still awake. You were supposed to be asleep. What's wrong?
Clare: I couldn't sleep. I had a terrible nightmare.
Faraedan: About what?
Clare: My parents were killed while they were fighting with the orc. I know the war hasn't started yet, I feel like that might die.
Faraedan: They not going to die. Why are you worrying?
Clare: They going to die.
Faraedan: No, they not. Please don't worry?
Clare: Okay, I won't worry so much.
Faraedan: Let's get some sleep.
Clare: Okay, may I sleep in your room, please?
Faraedan: Sure.
I finally feel asleep in Faraedan bed room. The morning has rose. The sun shining on my face. A cry was called.. The war started. Faraedan and I got dressed and ready to fight. The orc leader and his armies is unbeatable. Faraendan shot her arrows. Everyone else stabs the orc. Faraendan got killed when a orc broke her neck and killing her quickly. The war went on and on. Everyone is killed and I'm still alive. I ran away. I will never come back. I'm heartbroken. I'm all alone. Crying nonstop, thinking about what I should have done to protect Faraendan. She's the only friend I've got. We knew better not to fight. After the war I haven't eat or drink anything. I hope someday someone that I will come back with peace, for right now.. I have to suffer from the mistakes.
