Chapter 4

Sarah's Pov

I was awoken by a loud crash and what sounded like feet running down the stairs. I ignored it, rolling over onto my side and trying to fall back asleep. "Shit!" Cole screamed from downstairs. I rolled my eyes, grabbing a sweatshirt and some sweatpants before walking downstairs. "Please explain to me why you felt the need to scream loud enough to wake up the entire population?!" I groaned, walking into the kitchen, rubbing my eyes. Cole looked at me, blood running down his face where I had previously cut his head. I smirked and rolled my eyes, wetting a cloth and starting to dab at the cut. He winced in pain a few times, only making the process take longer. "What was that loud crash?" I asked, walking over to the sink and washing the blood off the cloth. "A tree fell over." He said I could tell he had shrugged his shoulders. I felt him wrap his arms around my waist, making my breath hitch in my throat. "Cole, no," I whispered, turning to face him. He just smiled at me leaning closer to me. I felt frozen, my brain was yelling at me to get out of there, but I couldn't move. His lips pressed against mine. I still couldn't move, I just stood there letting him kiss me. He pulled away and frowned before walking away. I grabbed onto the counter behind me, trying to steady myself. I don't know what just happened, but he has an effect on me. And I know for a fact he knows it as well.

Cole's Pov

I smirked as I walked away, I have an effect on her. I made her shut down and it was kinda hot. I like having this effect on her. I laid down on my bed, pulling out my phone and scrolling through my social media. I found her Instagram and Twitter and followed them. After a while, I decided that I had had enough of this and walked downstairs. She was sat in front of the fire reading a book. I took a seat next to her, carefully taking the book from her hands. She looked at me and groaned. "Hear me out, I know I was a jerk and I shouldn't have kissed you, but please give me a chance. Let me show you the real me! Please, be my girlfriend." I started, watching her every move. She pursed her lips and raised her eyebrows at me. "Fine, I will be your girlfriend."
