My name is Dixie Lynn. I kinda wonder sometimes what my parents where thinking when they named me. Judging by my name many people already know that I ain't no city slicker. That's right y'all Southern Pride till the day I die. I am born and raised in the Lone Star State. That's when I found out that everthing was about to change, but I hope it's a good change. We live in a very ghetto town where if any of us were going somewhere we either had a knife of my momma had a pistol in her purse. I ain't got many friends here since I'm pretty much the only redneck in my school. Yes I said redneck I can shoot a gun of any type in the world and know how to fix anything with an engine. I can cook, fry, grill, and barbecue about anything you put in front of me. Thanks to my mom and dad. Although they have been working like crazy the past few months I have had any time with them, so I end up hanging with my brothers.

We were all sitting at the table having a good ol' time when dad walked in and sat and the table quietly. I had a feeling that something wasn't good because usually he would give all of us a hug and a kiss on the head. "You okay dad you seem a little out of it today" one of my brothers finally said something. "Guys there's something I have to tell y'all". Oh crap this probably isn't gonna be good. "We are moving and we have about 5 days to move...we are moving to Georgia"the boys seem upset, but I was all for it. "Are you alright Dixie?" My mom looked at me with what looked like shock. "Yes ma'am I'm fine I'm happy we are moving actually" she just nodded and started eating again. I was finished eat so I washed off my plate in the sink, and went to my bedroom to start packing my things. I can't wait to see what it's like there. what if I meet someone...

*Colton's Point of View*

Everything just seems to be going down hill in life. Parents are constantly fight of the most stupidest things. I think I'm the only mature one in this house sometimes. I was out driving around when a song came on that made me want to go mudding. Kickin' up mud by the Lacs blared in my truck, so I called up my boys Brian, Justin, and Luke to ask them if they were up for mudding. They all agreed and said they would be at the field in 5 minutes. I hauled ass to the field, and seen that the field was still wet from the rain the other night. Not even .5 seconds later I hear the boys hauling down the road to the field. "Hey guys you ready to kick up mud?". They all yelled, "Hell yeah" at the top of there lungs. Then it was on...

After we went mudding we went to the car wash to wash our trucks so that are parents won't get made at us for getting the truck nasty. Brian yelled from a few lanes over," Man I'm hungry are y'all?" I agreed I didn't eat anything this morning. I got out of that house like a bat out of hell. My parents had a pretty heated argument this morning. "Hey my mom got chicken and dumplings at the house. Y'all want some." Brian's momma chicken and dumplings always hit the stop after a day of fun. "Dude ain't no one gonna say no to your momma's Chicken and dumplings, lets go". We all got back in our trucks and headed to Brian's house, and now I realize that tomorrow is Monday. I wish I hadn't remember that now. After dinner at Brian's I went home and jumped in the shower I didn't realize that my hair was covered in mud. I laid on my bed afterwards and fell asleep dreaming about a girl I didn't even know. Who is this girl?
