**Benny's POV**

I can't believe Phillips is doing this. Why? Wasn't he dating Dani? That made me mad. I had to do something to stop it. Why was she kissing him back? It makes me mad. I have to do something to stop this. I walked up to them and pushed them apart.

''What the hell?" I ask.

"Sorry" Phillips says, obviously not sorry at all.

"Hey, let's just go" Jordan said, pulling on my arm. I walked away with her. How could she do this to me? I know she doesn't like him. But she doesn't know I like her. At least I don't think she knows.

"Okay, what is your problem?" She asked stopping and turning to me.

"Nothing" I continued walking. She stopped me and turned me around to look at her.

" Really. Tell me." She demanded.

"Fine. Why'd you kiss him back?" I asked, giving in.

"I don't know. It was kind of a surprise and I didn't know what to do." She started. "Is that really what was bothering you?"

"Doesn't matter." I said shaking my head. "What do you mean you didn't know what to do?" I asked.

"I was kinda just, frozen." She explained.

"Frozen?'' I asked.

"Yeah. Couldn't move. You know?" She asked. God. I wanted to kiss her right now.

"Yeah." I said. By what she was saying, she would most likely kiss back right now.

I was interrupted of my thoughts when she said, "We should probably get back. Squints probably thinks we're doing it somewhere."

"Ew," I said. She rolled her eyes and started walking towards the tree house. I guess I just lost my chance.
