Getting There

I sat there for a little while before a lady announced, "We are about to take off. Please turn off all electronic devices. Thank you." The boy beside of me didn't listen to her, well didn't hear her. I didn't want him to get into any kind of trouble. I decided I should tell him but when I touched him, he grabbed my hair and pulled it back painfully. He didn't let go of my hair as he turned off his phone and took his headphones off. He put them into his bag. When he was finished, he turned back to me. I can't deny, he had beautiful eyes. The boy also had a cold gaze, not like Kris's gaze though. This person's gaze was full of anger, but Kris's gaze was... different. I don't know how. Maybe Kris's gaze came from being mean to me.

I felt him let go of my hair, he looked back forward, and closed his eyes. He seemed very annoyed by something. When the lady announced that we could turn are electronics back on, he took his phone back out and listened to music. I just stared out the window, thinking about my parents. I really miss them. They were really nice from what I can remember. I felt something on my shoulder causing me to look. The boy from earlier fell asleep, on my shoulder. As much as I wanted to wake him up, I didn't. I just went back to looking out the window. After about an hour, I also fell asleep. I've had a really long day.

I felt someone shaking me, it woke me up. I still didn't want to get up so I pushed the person off and got more comfortable. Then I felt something, something on my neck. I instantly opened my eyes when I felt it. It was the boy, he was kissing my neck. I quickly pushed him away. He just laughed at me before getting up and leaving. I don't understand. Why? Why would he do that to me? I don't know where he went but I didn't want him to come back. I know he is going to because he left his things here. I don't know how long I was asleep but I know it wasn't for long. After all the plane still hasn't landed. I herd the boy sit back down beside me. I turned around to see him looking at me, "Name?" I looked at him like he was crazy. Then he repeated himself, "What is your name?"

"Why do you want to know? Why should I tell you anyway?" I wasn't looking at his face. When I did, I could easily tell he was upset. He moved closer to me, trapping me against the wall of the plane. He grabbed my wrists and held them above my head.

"Why? I'll tell you why. I'll let you go and I'll tell you my name. If you don't tell me, I don't mind playing with you a bit." I tried to pull my hands free, but he had a strong grip. He still looked upset and like before, his gaze was cold.

"Fine, my name is Azon Ruin. Now let me go like you said you would." He was smiling at me and quietly laughed. I really don't get this guy. He stared strait into my eyes before tightening his grip on my wrists. He leaned closer to me and continued what he was doing before. I felt tears form in my eyes and slide down my face, "Stop, you said you would leave me alone. Please stop."

He slowly let go of my wrists and moved away from me, "My name is Kay. You better remember it." He pulled me into a hug, forcing me to stay that way. A little while passed before he let me go. I really don't understand. Why does everyone bully me. Is there some kind of sign on me.

Kay left me alone for the rest of the plane ride. When we landed he forced me to stay and wait for everyone to get off. Once almost everyone was off, he kissed me, and got off the plane, waving. I just rubbed my forehead and followed him off. I hope I never see him again, never.

When I got off all I saw was people. They were everywhere. Families reuniting, hugging and smiling. People meeting the person they love, for the first time or for a long time. Others were holding up signs for people they were looking for. Then there were people like me with no one to greet them. There were taxies for anyone who needed them, which I did. I walked over to one of then and how much money it costs for a ride to the Amazon Ruins. At first he looked at me like I was insane, then he told me the amount. I'm just happy I studied Spanish. It really does come in handy.

I got in the taxi and waited for the man to start driving. I knew the ride was going to be long. The airport was no where close to the Amazon. I watched outside as we drove though town. I saw many things that I never expected. I watched for a few minutes longer before I fell asleep. Maybe this time I can actually sleep for a while. I woke up five minutes from up five minutes from the ruins. We were deep in the forest now. When I got there, I got out and looked around a bit. I grabbed the only bag I had and paid the driver. As soon as I gave him the money, he drove off in a hurry. I guess he's scared of the ruins, like most people.
