Naruto pov
I woke up to my phone ringing obnoxiously for the third time this morning. I slapped my hand over it and clicked the answer button on it "what" I asked sleepily.

"Dude it's already 1 o'clock are you coming to practice or not? Even shikamaru's up!"
"Hey I heard that"

I laughed and sat up "yeah yeah I'll be there thanks for waking me up though"

"Wait your just waking up?!" He yelled and I held my phone away from my ear.

"Could you not scream in my ear as soon as I wake up? And yeah i'll be over in like 25 minutes ok?"

"Yeah fine hurry up"

"Yeah yeah I know I'll get there as fast as I can" I said and hung up the phone.

I rubbed my eyes then hopped out of my bed to get dressed. I put on a sage green hoodie and loose fitted jeans kept up with a random belt I found in my floor.

I walked out to my bathroom to brush my teeth and wash my face before walking downstairs and greeting my parents.

"Morning mom! Morning dad!" I said cheerily.

"Morning naruto"
"Morning sweetie"

I smiled and sat down at the table "is it ok if I go over to practice in twenty minutes?"

"Yeah of course it is, do you want food first?" My mom asked.

"Definitely! I'm starving!"

"Do you think your mother and I could listen to you and your friends play sometime?" My dad asked me and I nodded my head happily.

"Yeah of course we have a gig next Saturday if you wanna come to that!" I said and thanked my mom when she set a plate of toast down infront of me.

"Ok we'll both take off work to go then" my mom decided and clapped her hands together happily.

"Really? You guys are the best thank you" I said hugging them before I walked over to the door and put on my shoes "I'll see you guys later love you!" I shut the door behind me and began the walk to neji's house.

*time skip to neji's house*

I knocked on the door three times and i heard arguing before the door opened to reveal sasuke "ugh why couldn't someone else have opened the door, the person I wanted to see least was you" I took my shoes off and walked into the band room.

"You think i wanted to open the door for a car-less loser like you?" I rolled my eyes and walked into the room.

"hey naruto!" Kiba's enthusiastic voice yelled before he jumped at me and locked me in a hug.

I laughed and hugged him back "dang is it that boring without me here?"

"No it's not tooooo boring but it's just more fun when your here" he said and let go of me.

I laughed and smiled "I'm just amazing thats why" I joked as I walked over to the drumset and twirled one of my drumsticks on my fingers "what've you guys been playing?"

"Eh not much really just the same two songs as yesterday plus neji and sasuke were practicing the lyrics to the new song" shikamaru responded.

"Oh ok cool! Let's hear it!" I said exiedly and set me drum sticks down.

"Ok sure"
"Why would I do it if you asked me to"

"Fine sasuke I bet it will sound better without you in it anyway, neji can I hear the lyrics?"

I saw sasuke flip me off from the corner of my eyes and I had to try not to jump up and lunge him 'I hate him. I hate him so much why does he have to be so fucking rude! I wish I could just punch his face in' I thought angrily and I received a confused look from neji.
