#10 back in school

Naruto pov
I wiped tears away from my face but they kept streaming down. I pulled my knees up to my chest and pressed my face into them.

My hands were shaking and after a while I  brought my face off of my knees and wiped away more tears.

I coughed as I tried to swallow which was always difficult after I had been crying. I looked over at the clock with a sniffle and saw that it was 11:30.

'I'm missing half the school day....I should get dressed so I don't get in trouble' I thought and slowly made my way off the couch.

I stumbled across my living room due to my vision still being blurred from tears.

I looked up the staircase with less watery eyes. I sniffled again before taking the first step upstairs.

Every step i took hurt my foot because of the wound but I ignored it and walked into my room.

I picked out a grey t-shirt, and a random pair of ripped jeans. By the time I was done getting changed, my tears had stopped so I walked into my bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth.

I checked in the mirror to make sure my eyes weren't to red and I figured the puffiness would go away by the time I reached school.

I didn't bother eating anything but I took my phone out of my pocket I saw i had a bunch of missed messages so I checked them. All were from the groupchat, mainly kiba.

The responses I got after that consisted of just "ok's" so I ran/limped into the courtyard to meet everyone.

First one i saw was kiba who came running at me and tackled me in a hug "never make me suffer through math alone again!"

I smiled and sat up then nodded. He smiled back before letting go of me and standing up.

I kind of balanced on my right leg but I figured no one would really notice. Sasuke of course noticed being the observant bastard he is and decided to point it out.
