Sasuke pov
At the end of the day Naruto ran out of the school waving to our friends before catching up with me.

"Hey you'll be at practice later right?" Kiba called and received a thumbs up from Naruto.

Naruto paused beside me and waited for me to lead the way to the car probably wondering if I was driving him home again wich I was.

He took my passenger seat and when our doors were closed asked "Soooo how was you're day" he spoke almost awkwardly. I realized that even though we were friends again, we weren't the same as we used to be. I was still happy he asked. I hadn't been asked that by anyone other than itachi in years so I was grateful even if I don't usually talk about my days.

"Well it wasn't any different from usual, not good or bad. How about you dobe?" I asked.

He slumped down in his chair and yawned while shaking his head just groaning "ugh no comment"

"Does that mean your day sucked or you're just tired?"

He held up two fingers and slumped down even more as if to indicate both "well what happened?" I asked and he sat up yawning.

"four words: math test this Friday" he slapped his hands over his face and slumped back into his seat.

"So math is still your worst subject I'm assuming?" I questioned and he nodded his head.

"Yes I'm horrible at math and I'm totally screwed! I don't know how I'm going to pass!"

I thought about it for a moment then came up with an idea "how about I help you study this week like we used to" I offered.

"oh my gosh are you serious?? Yes please help me I have no idea what I'm doing sasuke i swear I'm going to fail this if you don't help me out"

I smirked and messed up his hair "yeah no problem, now let me drive you home you're probably gonna fall asleep in the car if we don't leave soon" with that I started the car and he leaned his head against the window.

I looked over at him while we were halfway to his house and i noticed he had already fallen asleep.

I sighed and shook my head as we approached his house. I decided I would be extra nice and let the dobe sleep more so I carried him into his house.

Once inside I walked up to where I remembered his room to be and I set him down on his bed. As soon as he was in his bed he curled up and pulled the blankets over him.

I smiled at the sleeping blonde and started to make my way back down stairs. We have an hour untill practice so I figured in that time I might as well let him nap and I'd make something for us to eat.

I went to his fridge to see if he had anything to make which he did but all if it had to be cooked and mostly wasn't quick 'ok what do I make, what do I make' I questioned myself before hearing footsteps behind me then not soon after feeling arms around me from behind.

My stomach did a flip at the gesture and a sleepy Naruto pressed his face into my back 'does he want something or is he just really tired?' I wondered, meanwhile my stomach had the nervous feeling again.

"Sasuke you don't have to cook anything, you're probably tired to, so take a nap"

I admit he wasn't wrong about me being tired but I was gonna have a hard time with my response if he kept clinging to me all tired and cute.....'NOT CUTE SASUKE, NO NO NO' I yelled at myself in my head.

"Well I am tired but I can still make you something to eat first" I responded but he shook his head and started pushing me over to the couch.

'Well I guess he's not hungry then' I thought. I was just hoping that eventually I could regain his trust fully. I know it will take more than driving him places, cooking, and us being friends again so I wanted it all to add up to something.
