Chapter 2

CHAPTER 2

It was a chaotic day inside their dorm when ‘tomorrow’ had arrived. Jitzu was cooking pancakes by the kitchen with a loud Lana and Jieun as her company. Haru was also sitting by the stool on the counter, but she wasn't saying anything. She was just eating her chocolates as she listened to the older girls banter like a bunch of pre-schoolers and egg them on if needed. On the other hand, Yumeko and Elle were watching the television and would sometimes join the nonsense conversation happening at the kitchen. About Minseo, she was still inside her room, probably playing some video games according to her roommate.

Haru wanted to visit and knock on the girl's room earlier, but she figured that it might seem like invading her privacy.

“Your turn.” Jieun playfully threw a peanut at Haru's direction then smirked when the latter looked up.

“To what?”

“Say something about yourself. The only thing we know about you is that you really like chocolates. You should tell us more.” Lana added.

“True!” Yumeko yelled from the living room.

Haru moved in her seat slightly and placed her index finger beneath her chin, pretending as if she was actually thinking of something to say, when she wasn't. “Hm, let's see.”

“Cut the bullshit, Haru. Stop being extra, or I'll burn your pancakes.” Jitzu threatened jokingly.

The girl rolled her eyes then huffed in annoyance. “Fine. I'm a rapper.”

“Wow. So detailed and informative.” her best friend retorted sarcastically, flipping the pancakes as she looked at the girl.

“Aren't you a rapper too?” Yumeko asked as she walked inside the kitchen, fully joining the conversation while Elle also decided to join them and sat next to Haru.

Jitzu's eyes seemed to widen by the girl's appearance that she almost dropped the pan. “Y– yeah. How did you know, unnie?”

“I was listening earlier.” Yumeko winked and pointed at her ears as she took one bar of chocolate from Haru's grasp.

Realizing that all of the members were there except for one, Haru decided to take action. She stood up from the stool and patted Jitzu's back lightly before looking at the other girls. “Looks like we're almost complete in here. Will you guys mind if I just fetch Minseo... unnie?”

“No, go ahead.”

“Not really.”

“Good idea.”

“Go get her, Romeo.” That was Jitzu.

Haru flipped her off sneakily before running towards the girl's room. She didn't know why she was suddenly feeling nervous. She blamed it on Jieun's coffee that she accidentally sipped earlier.

Meanwhile, Minseo was quietly playing Minecraft in her computer since she really wasn't in the mood to interact with anyone at the moment. Don't get her wrong, she really liked the girls and wanted to be friends with them, but she was just too shy  and she thinks that she might be intruding if she suddenly joined in their conversation at the kitchen. She was in the middle of debating and contemplating whether she should just go outside or just stay in the room when she heard three consecutive knocks by the door.

Expecting it was just her roommate, Yumeko trying to check up on her, Minseo didn't bother fixing herself. Her hair was messy and she didn't even put any make up on. Not to mention the fact that she was still in her pyjamas. So she stood up and walked towards the door and opened it.
