Chapter 17: The Big Scheme.

5 DAYS BEFORE SENIOR PROM

Jacob.

I was getting my suit for prom fitted today after school and Samantha was coming with me. We walked into the tailor hand in hand for the fitting. I was more than excited about prom.

"Appointment for Jacob Perez." Samantha laid her head on my shoulder and the concierge lead me over to the tailor. She waited while I was getting measured and fitted. After nearly an hour of waiting, I came out in my suit for Samantha to see.

She saw me and bit her lip. "Baby, you look so sharp..." I chuckled and looked in the mirror. "It's nice, right?" She nodded, and smiled. "I love it baby, how much is it?"

"$250." I took off the jacket and hung it up, while Samantha was on her phone. "So if you can see my suit, how come I can't see your dress?" She giggled and looked up at me, "Because I want to make it a surprise. You're gonna love it though, I promise."

We left the tailor and I drove Samantha home.

Rayan.

I was meeting Naomi today in the back of the school took talk to her about something. I know it's a little crazy that I did what I did to Samantha, but I actually miss her.

Naomi met me in the auditorium during lunch, where we could talk privately. I had the perfect plan to get Samantha back, and with Naomi's help, it should turn out well for the both of us.

"Hey, Rayan... what did you need?" She asked, "I needed a favor, but only if you feel comfortable." She looked confused about what I was going to ask her.

"I found a way for us to break up Samantha and Jacob on prom night, and I'm gonna need your help." She looked at me with a look of surprise, but then a smirk came across her face. "I'll do it." This is going to be perfect.

Aaliyah.

I saw Naomi walked towards the back of the school while I was walking to the car, and when people go to the back of the school, their either were trying to have sex or have a little private talk. So I stood behind the wall to see her meeting up with Rayan.

What was she doing with him? I didn't want to jump to conclusions and say they were a couple, but whatever they were doing looked suspicious. Eventually I left to go to my car and head home, I don't have time to be spying on Rayan anyway.

Naomi.

I counted up the $500 in my hand that Rayan gave me to go through with this plan, there was no way I was doing this for free. It's not the hardest plan to go through, but this was still taking time out of my day, which means I need to get some sort of down payment for this.

I drove home and smirked at the idea Rayan gave me for Saturday night. This was going to go perfectly, Samantha's gullible enough and Jacob is weak enough for this plan to be a success. Rayan and I are both getting what we wanted from this, so it was most definitely a win-win situation.
