ten- dinner with the hoods

OKAY SO WHEN RO AND CAL ARE TEXTING IT'S GONNA BE DIRTY I'VE WARNED YOU xx

"Hi." Calum said as he walked down the stairs. His parents were already starting to eat. Mali was right behind him when she accidentally bumped into him. 

"Watch it." Calum eyed her.

"Yeah whatever. Let's just eat." On the table was a sixteen-inch pizza, grilled chicken, grilled vegetables, pasta, and a few sides. (A/N: are you hungry?) Calum went straight for the pizza and the pasta. 

"Calum don't get fat. Okay?" Mrs. Hood told him. Mrs. Hood was always monitoring his weight and his exercise. He was really annoyed that his mom told him this like everyday. She is such a good but annoying mom, Calum thought.

"So Calum," Mr. Hood said in his Scottish accent. Calum was nervous what his dad was about to say.

"Your mom told me that you're going to New York." He continued to say. Calum kept eating until he swallowed. Then he nodded and said,

"Yeah, it's for the band." Calum lied. He didn't want his dad to know that he was seeing a girl. 

"Don't lie, Calum." His mom raised her eyebrows and looked at him.

"Fine. I'mgonnagoseeagirl." Calum said really fast. Mali almost chocked on her food because Calum was a little embarrassed to say it regularly. 

"And is this girl, is she one you met online?" Mr. Hood took a bite out of his chicken. He glanced at Calum who was stuffing himself with the mashed potatoes. 

"Uh, yeah." Calum said without looking up. The rest of the dinner, Mali was talking about going on X-Factor for a second time. Calum rolled his eyes and decided to go on his phone that was hidden on his lap.

dude help me mali's talkin abt singing and it's killing me!!!!!

SO LIKE I WAS ON WEHEARTIT AND THEN MY MOM CAME IN THE ROOM AND SAW WHAT I WAS DOING SINCE MY BACK WAS FACING THE DOOR AND IT SCARED ME SOOO MUCH BC SHE ALMOST CAUGHT ME. SO SHE SAID WHAT WERE U DOING I SAW U SHOW ME AND THEN I SHOWED HER MY GOOGLE DOCS STUFF PHEW.
