Roxxanne was thinking to break the silence but she just didn't know how. It was like not knowing which cupcake to get when you're at a birthday party. Then she found the perfect thing to say.
"Do you guys want to go anywhere in particular?" She said while looking between Michael and Ashton which was Calum.
"I wanna go to to the nearest music shop." said Michael. Okay... She thought.
"I don't know where the closest one is though. The only one I know is East Village Music Store." She said thinking of the time when she bought her first CD there when she was twelve.
"There's a lot of guitar amps there... Cool drumsticks, too." Roxy said while looking at Ashton. He smiled back.
"Okay, so we're going there?" Calum responded.
"Yeah!" Luke exclaimed.
"Okay. You guys wanna take a cab or get a ride from your driver?" Roxxanne asked.
"Umm... How about Michael, Ashton and I get a ride from Jeremiah, and you go with Calum on a cab." Luke offered.
"Sounds good." Calum said. He looked at Roxy to confirm that it was okay. She nodded back and they went out of the hotel. Roxxanne and Calum left before Jeremiah came to pick up the others.
"Do you like it here?" Roxy asked Calum after she told the driver to go to the music store. It was a decent amount of traveling time, though it was not close nor was it far.
"Yeah, it's pretty cool here. I like the food already." Calum stated smiling at her. She smiled back with her gleaming brown eyes. Calum was drooling a bit and Roxxanne caught him. She giggled and realized what he was doing and blushed in crimson. She looked outside to see the building pass by and the cars speeding. It was like she didn't know where she was, but she did. It was her home city. Well, not actually her home city but more like where she grew up after she was seven.
"That's nice... Did you guys just get here? Weren't you supposed to come tomorrow?" She asked.
"Yeah we were but Michael surprised the fuck out of me and said he cancelled our tickets. But then he continued on and said that he got them for a day earlier. Damn, that motherfucker never finishes his sentences." He said while shaking his head. Roxy giggled in response.
"What's it like in Australia?" She asked. Calum fixed his gaze on her and looked in her eyes.
"It's really nice there. The wildlife, the people, the accent. Everything." Calum said. She nodded.
"I wanna go there. But like, I don't really interact with my parents. I only talk to them when I need to or when they call me down to do stuff for them. I used to be close to them, but I don't know what happened. It was probably me just being me. You know, I grew up into an irresponsible teenager like most of us." She said remembering when she was little.
"Oh... W-Well, you could come swing by down in 'Stralia if you want." She smiled.
I swear if she smiles one more time, I will kiss her right on the spot. Calum thought.
"I'd like that Calum. I really do." Her smile slowly faded and she caught her attention to an ambulance outside.
Someone's hurt. she thought.
After about five minutes of the brief silence, the driver stopped in front of the music store.
"Thanks." Roxxanne told him. She gave him the amount and told him to keep the change. They got out of the cab and walked in.
Calum inhaled the scent of the music store. It smelled like memories and teen spirit.
The boys arrived about two minutes after them and Michael almost fainted at the sight of all the great music artists and the greatest albums of all time.
