*3 Years Later*
"And here with us now, we have The Vamps and their beautiful girls. Hello boys!"
"Hi!" They all chant in unison.
"So, Brad and Destiny, we first get the news that you two were dating, then you got engaged and Brody came along. But then you hit the internet with wedding photos!"
Bradley's grip around my waist tightened, before I spoke up.
"Yes yes, that's right!"
The smile was pretty evident on my cherry lips as I awaited the next question.
"How did all this affect you Destiny?"
"Well... I had been there since the very beginning, before the band was even formed. I was friends with James and then I was introuduced to the rest of the boys when James introduced us. I never thought that at the age of 18, I would have already met the man I was going to fall in love with and get married to and have a baby with. I look back everyday on that time, and I don't regret anything. And Carolyne has just been there for me whenever I ever needed her.
You know, sometimes you hear the boys' fans say how grateful they are for these four boys, because they got to meet someone they would never have met if it wasn't for these lads. Sometimes, you think, how is that possible? But I really do love my life and even though I've had major ups and downs, these lads and Carolyne have been by my side through thick and thin, and I wouldn't change them for the world..."
Being interviewed wasn't a nerve wracking thing for me anymore, I was used to it. I was used to all the attention I recieved on a daily basis. Yes, sometimes it would get so frustrating, especially if I had Brody with me. But it's part of my life, and so was walking on the red carpets.
"Awe, it's lovely to see young people so humble these days, especially when they are pushed into the limelight. So... what was your wedding like?"
"Well..."
**
"Carolyneeeeeeee!"
"Stop whining and get your arse out of bed!"
"Help me up!"
I outstretched my arms out of the top of the duvet as I felt her grab my arms, throwing me over her shoulder.
I burst into giggles as Carolyne threw me into the bathroom.
"Get in the shower and then we can do your hair and makeup and you can get into your dressss!!"
The warm water cascaded down my shoulders and back, relaxing my tense muscles.
I remember imagining my perfect wedding as a child. I used to doodle wedding dresses in my school books, and daydream about my perfect groom standing at the alter...
And my father walking me down the isle...
Today had been in the back of my mind the second Brad had proposed to me over 3 years ago. I really was lucky to have such a great life, a great son, great friends, and most of all a great husband.
I was scrolling through tumblr a few days ago, when I saw this post talking about how marriage is like having sleepovers with your best friend everyday. And after I read that, any nerves I previously had were out of the window. I was finally getting my fairytale wedding, and I couldn't be more happier.
"Destiny! Hurry your arse up! How long does it take?"
I laughed at my best friends whining through the locked bathroom door.
"I'm finished. Chill out! You are more stressed than me!"
I didn't have much time to get a response from her as I was being pushed into a chair as someone worked magic on my neglected hair and someone bombarded my face with all sorts of brushes.
"I would like my hair and makeup to be really simple please."
"Okay my dear."
"Why aren't you going all out?!"
"Because Carolyne, Brad fell in love with me for me, not my makeup and exquisite hair styles."
"Awwee!"
"What are you going to be like when you and Tris finally bite the bullet and get married!"
I gestured towards the engagement ring on her left hand, a smile crawling onto my now nude lips.
Blush rose up Carolyne's cheeks, before she replied.
"You and Brad took your time, me and Tris don't need to rush into this. We are engaged and together and thats all that matters to me."
A gasp involuntarily left my lips.
"So, you don't even mind if you two don't get married?"
"No. I'm quite happy knowing he wants to be with me and I him. We dont need a piece of paper to tell the other we love them."
"But I've been dreaming about this day since I was like 3!"
Carolyne laughed before sitting next to me, as she was the one to now get bombarded with makeup brushes and curling irons.
For the next half an hour, all of the girls had made small talk as they were getting pampered. It was nearly time, and the last bridesmaid slipped into her dress as mine was zipped up.
"This is it kiddo!"
Carolyne gave me a side hug as there was a knock on the door.
"It's only me, James!"
"Come in!"
As James stepped in, he looked at us all, his jaw slacking.
"Oh wow. You all look absolutely stunning. And Destiny... wow!"
"Thanks James. And thank you for doing this... It really does mean a lot."
"It's my upmost pleasure Destiny."
He held out his arm, as I linked mine through his and the bridesmaids made their way down towards the garden, where the isle was situated, looking out onto the most beautiful lake.
"Lets get you down the isle then ey?"
I gently nodded my head as I took very light and gentle steps down the stairs.
My breathing hitched in my throat as I saw the most beautful human being stood, waiting for me.
He was mine and I was his.
The second he glanced my way, his cheeky grin appeared upon his soft lips.
Damn you Simpson...
James gently kissed my cheek, before I whispered a small thank you and he passed me onto Bradley.
This was it. The time had finally come.
After we repeated everything we were told to, it was time to say those 2 words...
"I do..."
I smiled up at him before the exact same words left my lips.
"I do..."
