I held the phone up to my ear as it began ringing...

"DEE?!"

"Hi Becca..."

"Why the fuck have you been ignoring everyone's texts and calls?"

"Becca... I'm here..."

"Where?"

"The cemetary..."

"Oh Dee... why didn't you say anything. I would have come up to meet you!"

"Please dont. I'm alright. But could you just send a quick text to James telling him that I'm alright and that they can stop looking for me. Please."

"Dee. I gotta tell them where you are! They are worried sick about you! I never knew you had such great friends!"

"Oh thanks Dee! Plase just tell James that I'm alright and that they don't need to worry about me. Please don't do anything else!"

"Can I please tell just James where you are?"

"No! Just tell him I will meet them back at their house in an hour okay?"

"Sure. Love you babe. Stay safe!"

"Love you too. See you later."

I put my phone back in my bag as I decided it was time to go.

"Goodbye mum, goodbye dad. See you soon. Love you."

I slowly walked away, tears still streaming down my cheeks as I dreaded the situation that was going to arise in just under an hour.

I chose to walk slowly to James's place. There was no rush as long as he knew I was alright...

Eventually, I found myself stood outside James's door, carefully bringing my hand up, gently knocking on the wood.

The tears were still streaming down my cheeks as James flew the door open, nearly ripping it off the hinges, as he looked up at me, frozen.

"Dee?"

He whispered, barely loud enough for me to hear.

But before I could say anything, he wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me tightly into his chest, walking backwards, shutting the door behind us both.

"You scared the shit out of me Dee..."

"I know... I'm sorry James..."

"Its ok now. Your safe and thats all that matters."

"God I love you Jems!"

"Love you too Dee."

I managed to pull away as I heard someone shouting in the living room.

"Brad, calm down mate!"

"How can I calm the fuck down Tris?"

"Babe?"

I cringed at the sound as I pulled at James's waist, pulling him closer to me as he looked at me confused.

"What's up?"

"I'll tell you later."

"Ok. Come on. Its time they stopped worrying about you now."

James grabbed my wrist as he pulled me into the living room, where everyone went quiet as their attention turned to me.

I casually walked past everyone and sat on the two seater, and thankfully Tristan sat down almost instantly next to me.

"Im so glad your okay!"

He turned to me as he embraced me, as I rested my head in the crook of his neck.

"Thanks Tris."

"What for?"

"Caring..."

Tris pulled away, as I sat there, staring at nothing in particular as everyone sat down on the other sofas.

My phone went off, signalling that I had a text message.

From; Becca

Hey love. You get there ok? xxx

From; Dee

Yea I'm here now xxx

From; Becca

Ok love you xxx

From; Dee

Love you too xx

I glanced around the room, when I found out that everyone had been staring at me, almost waiting for me to run off again.

No one was speaking, until Brad eventually did.

"Where did you go?"

"Somewhere..."

"Oh helpful."

"Just shut the fuck up alright. I can do what the fuck I like... I don't need you following me around like I could get hurt at any given moment. I've managed quite well on my own until now haven't I?"

Everyone just sat there... probably in shock at my outrage, but yet again, Brad pissed me off...

"I need a drink..."

I quickly stood up and made my way into James's kitchen, where I got a glass and filled it with water, taking a sip before leaning my back against the kitchen counter.

I've had enough of all this shit...

It woudn't bother me if I just curled up into a ball and died... Really wouldn't bother me one bit...

Slamming my glass on the top, I walked back into the living room, collecting my purse.

"Bye Tris."

I leaned down, briefly hugging him, as I moved onto James.

"Bye babe."

"Bye Dee."

I hugged him also before brielfy turning to Grace.

"Bye Grace."

Before anyone could say anything else I walked towards the door, but not before shouting.

"If you find me in a ditch highly intoxicated, don't be suprised! Bye!"

I then slammed the door behind me as I headed back to my apartment, ready to raid the alcohol...

Today has been a long day...
