It wasn't until a couple of days later when Felix returned to classes. Minho and Chan sat at the back of their classroom, as usual, listening to their teacher drone on about Moses and the ten commandments. Everyone in the room could already recite them with ease, except Minho who had forgotten them all as soon as he was taught them.
He didn't pay attention to the lesson, rolling his pen back and forth along his blank piece of paper which only had 'thou shalt not kill' written on it at the top. He wondered if he could threaten to use his pen as a weapon and escape this place... He knew he'd just get restrained by someone stronger than him though.
Halfway through the lesson, the door opened and Felix was shoved inside. He stumbled into the room, almost falling until someone grabbed the back of his robes and forced him back into a standing position. They dragged him to the front of the class with no sympathy for his cry of pain.
Chan gasped when he saw his face. Felix was much paler than usual. Black and blue bruises stood out along his cheeks as clear as day. All of his hair had been shaved off, only a few short strands left around his head. He slumped over as soon as the person holding onto him let go of his robes, as if he couldn't keep himself up.
Father Wilson stood behind him. Chan hadn't seen him for a couple of months, but he was a man you could never forget the face of. He was tall, looming over anyone he stood near him with thick, black robes hanging over his body. A crucifix the size of Felix's head hung around his neck, made of gold and ruby. Through the golden spectacles on the bridge of his nose, he watched the students in the classroom with beady eyes.
"Let this be a lesson to all of you," his voice bellowed around the room, rough and coarse, "do not stray away from what the Lord has provided you with."
Chan winced when Father Wilson shoved Felix forward. The boy stumbled, almost hitting his stomach on the desk beside Jeongin. He managed to clamber into the chair without doing so but Chan could imagine his chest already hurt a lot...
Father Wilson didn't say anything else. His feet thumped with every step he took along the tiled floor towards the door. He was almost there when Jeongin reached out for Felix, placing a hand on his shoulder. Felix ripped away from him and yelled, "Get off me! Get off me! Don't touch me!"
Father Wilson paused, turning on the heels of his heavy, black boots. "Felix," he warned and Felix's entire body froze, his only movement being trembling as Father Wilson took slow, steady steps towards him. When he placed a hand on Felix's shoulder, he said to him, "what did I say about forgiveness? You must forgive Jeongin for what he has done. That's the only way to salvation. You must understand he was only looking out for you. If you cannot forgive, you'll have to spend another week in the cellar. After that, it will be an eternity in Hell."
Minho opened his mouth as if to say something but Chan glared at him, something he'd never done before. Minho snapped his mouth shut and Chan muttered, "don't," to him, and then in a softer voice, "please."
Father Wilson removed his hand from Felix's shoulder. This time, he disappeared out of the room, but that didn't stop Felix from bursting into tears. The teacher hit him with the ruler a few times, telling him to stop, but when Felix didn't respond, the guards were called to take him away. Felix didn't even struggle against them.

"That's so fucked. They can't do that to someone!" Minho ranted, storming back and forth along his and Chan's bedroom floor, fists curled at his side's. Chan watched from his bed, legs pulled up to his chest, slightly rocking back and forth. "It's abuse! The police have to take this place down. We have to get out of here and report them."
"We never will."
Minho paused his pacing, turning around to face Chan. "You can't say that. You were with me on escaping last week."
