It's been 2 days and Jake is not answering my phone calls. He's not giving me any attention, I don't know where the fuck he is but I'm truly mad at him.

How can be someone so stubborn because I was hanging with his friends ? Like best friends.

Since I went out with Kio eating lunch, he's so pissed off and avoids me the last 2 days. But now he start to get on my nerves because I know I did nothing wrong. Nobody can ever question my loyalty. If I want somebody else, I'd end things and won't hurt anybody.

Currently it's 10 p.m and My friend Zara and I driving to Mc Donald's.

"I just don't understand him. You absolutely did nothing wrong and he's acting like a bitch", she states, annoyed while I am driving the car.

"I don't want to talk about it anymore, he's been acting so childish", I response.

She nods her had and rolls her eyes. She's my best friend since elementary school. I don't have any siblings so she's like a sister to me.

"What do you wanna eat?", I ask her as I drive in Mc donald's.

"Hmm", she mumbles. "Cheeseburger and fries"

After both of us ordered a cheeseburger and fries we're on the way finding a spot to eat.

"Let's just eat it on the beach", I purpose.

"Nai it's late the beach is scary as fuck", she whimpers, shaking her head. "Don't be a pussy Zara. The weather is beautiful"

She gives me an unsure look and bites her underlip, nervously. "Ok fine, but if we get killed it'll your fault, stupid", she response, giggling.

"Deal"

A while later, we arrived. We get out of the car and sit right in front of the sea. The stars are shining bright and the waves are very high at night. But the sound of it just calms my body and makes me wanna fall asleep.

"It's indeed beautiful here", Zara admits as she lays on the sand, eating her fries. "Yeah, defiantly. No boys, no drama, just you and me and-"

"Food", she adds up and laughs. "We should do more best friend days together. I missed hanging with you without Jake"

"Yeah, you're right. No more boys"

We chat a little bit, enjoying the midnight. I love those off-days. Doing nothing but enjoying life, being able to do this little things that matters. I might forgot about Zara sometimes. I was so busy dealing with my relationship problems with Jake that I couldn't find any time to spend with my friends. I'm actually awful.

"I feel like a shitty friend", I admit, a short time later. "Why, no Nai I didn't mean it like that I-"

"Zara I know what you meant but- I had my focus on Jake. I never really deeply though about us. It affected our friendship and I'm sorry", I apologize as looking down, playing with my fingertips in shame. Zara frowns.

"Nai I don't see the problem. It's okay to fall in love. I'm your friend and I'm here- and I don't want to ruin this emotional conversation but I'm so thirsty", she reassures me, holding my hand as a symbol of caring. "Yeah let's get something to drink. Nearby is a beach grocery store we can go there", I suggest and stand up to go to the car.
