„You won't", I hear Vinnie's voice behind me, walking straight to my bed.

He limps and you can see his pain covered face which he's trying so hard to hide.

I wipe my tears away and slide a bit to the side to let him sit there.

„Why are you walking ?", I ask him as I help him lay down on my bed.

„Because I can't have a time out. You can't take a break in this business even with a bullet in your chest", he says monotonous like it's a normal situation he's dealing with.

Probably for him it is.

„Why are you crying ?", he asks, glaring at me.

„I can't go home and even if I could I am a killer now and I know that you are going to kill me but-„

„Who said that ?", he asks again, giving me a serious look.

„This is my fault", I burst out crying and let my head fall on the pillow.

„I'll survive it. I'm not going to kill you and nobody will"

„Why ?"

„Because I can't", he states, pressing his lips together as he looks at the ceiling, not giving me any looks.

I glance at his side profile and his messed up but somehow perfect looking curls, seeing his jaw tensing up while he's thinking about something.

I can't imagine him being like a boss everyone claims about. He looks so, innocent.

I know that they all aren't serial killers, just business men and criminals but he just seems like a normal teenage boy. I always stay in my room, not knowing what's happening in this house maybe that's why I never really saw him being a boss.

I really want to hate him. For kidnapping me, for being his hostage, for keeping me in this huge villa, for making me a killer but I just can't. Something inside me just can't hate him.

A few moments later, Vinnie's eyes turn to my side as I avoid the eye contact.

„Why are you staring at me", he asks, smiling.

„I'm not staring", I respond quickly, turning on my back. I don't want to talk to him.

„Don't you ask yourself what I'm doing here ?", he asks. I can feel his eyes peeled on my face, but I keep looking down at my fingers.

I nod as a slight laugh escapes his mouth.

„Maybe you needed a little friend after you turned out as a killer"

„Vinnie !", I yell at him, widen my eyes and giving him a shocked look, while he starts laughing even more.

„I'm joking. I thought you'd like to talk about it. When I did my first kill, I was so numb i didn't want to talk about it and I couldn't handled the fact that I took someone's life", he explains.

„I know that now I'm in this business it's sort of normal to. . do things like that or getting shot. But
I'm used to it for years"

He looks up at the ceiling again.

„After 5 years your the first normal thing that happened to me"

Happened to him ?

„What do you mean ?", I ask him.

„In this business, there aren't any normal people they're all criminals and business men. Nobody has time to kidnap, they just kill"

„Why am I here then ?"

„Because I don't kill innocents", he answers, pressing his lips together like he couldn't believe himself.

He's a criminal and he doesn't want to kill ?

I sound like an idiot. I try to explain the girl who's been kidnapped that I don't kill innocents. We're criminals and we definitely kill innocents.

But something inside me can't hurt her in any ways.

She's pure and the only normal human being I met in a while. And I already fucked up.

She also killed someone and I know how this shit feels. The first time taking someone's life. . .

It's so fucked up that this is my life now, but for her it's unbelievable. I never opened up to someone to speak, I don't speak at all but when I see her this way I know how I felt.

Vinnie you can't be too soft to her.

„If you need something just say it, I have to go", I say, standing up and limping to the door. The wound still hurts like hell, but I have to do meetings and focus on business again.

Nailea doesn't respond, she just turns around and hugs her pillow.

How bad I just want to lay my arm around her..

I give her a last look, before I turn around and walk out of the door.

Hey guys, this chapter was a full ninnie experience. I thought a little chapter just about them would be cute before drama comes along the way.

Vinnie opened up a bit but, who knows what comes next.
