SCP-9834: Ghost of an Extinguished World

Iris is tapping nervously on the table in her chamber. 

"How is this possible?" She says out loud, staring at the three photographs before her. It shows a structure in the middle of the desert. One of them showing a room, which she guesses to be the inside of the structure. It's dark, but light pierces through a hole shining above a gold item that looks like a key. What puts her on edge, is that these were taken without her Polaroid. A researcher walks in.

"Good morning, Iris." She notices the photos. "Do you have the camera with you?" 

"No. These were already here when I woke up." Iris says. She examines them and fiddles the one with the key. She manipulates the ground around the object to unearth it. 

"This is peculiar. I will take these for examination." The researcher grabs the photos and leaves. Iris feels uneasy, like someone is watching her. 

Remote location in Sinai

"WOOOO! Walk like an Egyptian~!" Cerberus is singing, while driving in the middle of the desert. The team is riding to check Facility T, which is what the photographs showed. Kai is being irritated on the passenger seat, while the rest are in the backseat being annoyed as well. "Come on, gals! Sing with me!" Kai punches the radio. "Coño! What the fuck is wrong with you!?"

"Nothing. Getting some peace and quiet." She huffs.

"Tch. Fine." He pouts. Lilith notices Mary has been silent the whole ride. 

"Are you okay?" She asks.

"Huh? O-Oh yes. I'm just thinking." Mary thinks back on the event from the other day. She blushes at the fact that Cerberus witnessed such a shameful act. 

"...Do you want to do a prayer to ease yourself?" 

"Yes. That would definitely help." They both close their eyes and silently pray. Iris is still nervous. Not only is the presence of being watched never left, she also has a bad feeling about all this. "Would you like to join us, Vision?"

"No th-"

"Maldita sea, Kai! I really wanted to listen to music!" Cerberus couldn't control his outburst.

"No one wanted to listen to your shitty songs!" They keep bickering, making the truck slightly swerve as he's not focused on the road.

"On second thought, I will join." Iris accepts and the three pray for a safe journey.

Facility Titty

"Here we are. God's Blind Spot." Cerberus says as they approach the facility. "What makes this place interesting, is the fact that no one can die in these parts. Though, before you gals decapitate yourselves, the anomaly only works when you're inside. Once anyone gets out of range with lethal injuries, they will die. Also you can burn to death. Fun fact! Nine out of twelve O5 members live here inside their dormitories. Though they've never left the place since construction was finished."

"So interesting." Iris rolls her eyes. They get to the checkpoint. The security identifies them and are allowed inside. Cerberus parks the truck. He inhales the air.

"Oh yeah! You smell that? That's the scent of undeath, my fellow comrades!" The gals look around the buildings around them. There are D-Class personnel with missing limbs walking normally. There's even one carrying her head like a Dullahan. 

"What's getting you all excited?" Iris asks.

"Hahaha! Ever since yesterday, I feel like all the corruption has been cleansed out of me!" He front flips to assert his dominance. "Not to mention that they have the key before the enemy." A caramel skinned researcher with brown wavy hair and massive breasts approaches them.

"Hello. My name is Ameera Neith. It is a pleasure to meet you all." She smiles warmly. The gals are staring at her tits. 

"Nice to meet you, Ameera! I'm Cerberus!" He shakes her hand furiously. His excitement has blinded his sexual thoughts to care about her figure. 

"So you're SCP-9834? I've read about you and I must say, you're shorter than I thought."

"You know what they say about short people. They know their way around small spaces." He grins like a doofus.

"Hahaha. I'm sure they do. I know everyone is here for the object, but rest assured, we have it safe in its containment. I would like to give you a tour around the area? It's not every day that a non D-Class or researcher come here."

"That would be great! I've always wanted to visit this place ever since I read about it!" He skips excitedly. 

"...What exactly happened yesterday?" Lilith asks, while everyone turns to Mary. She covers her face, blushing furiously.

"I don't want to talk about it." The rest shrug and follow them.

"This is where we conduct research on mutilation." Ameera points to a small building where scientists are following a D-Class who has no arms, but is smiling.

"Doesn't it hurt?" Mary asks.

"Don't worry. We apply anesthetic and after twelve hours, the stump rapidly heals." She answers. The D-Class waves at them. Cerberus waves back. "That's the cafeteria and the public restroom is here. Do excuse me. I've been needing to go for a while. Give me a moment." She heads inside. The group waits outside.

"I just dropped in, to see what condition my condition was in~!" Cerberus is singing and dancing to pass the time.

"Seriously. Did she hit her head or something?" Lilith keeps persisting Mary. Kai summons Three Days Grace to attack him, but he backflips to avoid it.

"I told you that surprises only work once." He says seriously. Newi materializes behind him.

"Whatever. You still owe me a fight. Plus, I hate seeing your annoying happy ass." She cracks her knuckles.

"Can you both calm down? We don't have time for this bullshit and we're in public." Iris tries to reason.

"DURORORORORO!!" Three Days Grace punches repeatedly.

"UTE UTE UTE UTE UTE!!" Newi parries the punches with her claws. Due to the sheer strength of both Protectors, they start to float in the air. A crowd forms to look up at the action. Because they're way up, he is out of Mary's range and Kai is starting to feel the effects. Cerberus on the other hand, is getting tired from the constant deflection. TDG is much stronger than Newi and it's now fucking up his hands. She manages to land a blow to his face, but not before Newi slices her arm. Cerberus is pulled towards Kai and they hit each other with their head. They start falling, but Evanescence uses her shadow portal to catch him, while Kai crashes on the ground.

"Quick question, are you immune to the anomaly of this place?" Iris asks Cerberus.

"Uuuh….I don't know." He says being slightly dazed. Iris sighs.

"You should be more careful next time if you don't know the extent of your immunity." She scolds him. Mary attaches Kai's arm using her vines to heal it completely.

The bathroom is solace

"What's all the ruckus outside?" Ameera wonders while washing her hands. A D-Class member leaves the stall and stands next to her. "Oh. Clara. How's your arm doing?"

"Wonderful! Want to see?" Her right arm turns into a giant needle and plunges it in Ameera's throat. She gargles in her blood as she's being sucked in completely. The D-Class transforms into Ameera with clothes and all. "Ugh! My back! How the hell did she walk with these?" She complains, cupping her breasts. "Oh well. I just have to act natural and grab the key. Easy peasy!" She smiles sinisterly and composes herself before leaving.
