*Two weeks after meeting the girls*

Julie

I hear a knock on the door to our dorm. I go to open it revealing Luke Alex and Reggie.

"We're bored" Alex says as Reggie and Luke just barge in, making themselves at home.

"Hello to you too reggie and Luke" I say sarcastically with a laugh. I let Alex in and shut the door behind him. Right as the door closes, there's another knock. I sigh and open the door again, this time seeing sahana, Anna, and Mari.

"We saw the guys come from across the hall" sahana says. They're dorm is right across from mine and Flynn's.

"And we couldn't have you guys partying without us" Anna adds with a smile. Mari walks right passed me and flops onto my bed in a starfish position.

The whole gang gathers around and we start talking.

"So we still don't really know each other very well" Reggie says to everyone, but clearly only looking towards Anna. She tries to conceal her glances towards him, but she's failing.

"Let's go around and just ask each other questions" sahana suggests.

"Sounds fun!" Flynn says

"I'll start" Anna says with a small blush. "Hmmm I guess I'll ask" she looks around the circle "uhh Reggie!" Big shocker there "Reggie, what's your favorite animal?" Reggie brightens up, excited to talk to someone about his animal obsessions.

"I've always really loved butterflies" he exclaims.

"NO WAY" Anna says "ME TOO" after the two squeal a bit over their new found similarity, Luke clears his throat.

"Reg it's your turn to ask someone a question" He says, nudging Reginald's shoulder.

"Oh right," Reggie says "uh Julie! What's your favorite song you've written"

Deep down, I want to say perfect harmony, the song I wrote about Luke years ago, but I never showed anyone except Flynn and I'm not about to expose myself.

"Uh probably wake up since it was the last song I wrote with my mom" I say. Wake Up is a close second.

"Wait, what do you mean last song you wrote with your mom?" Sahana asks. I look down, remembering my mom.

"She passed away three years ago" I say. "She's the one that gave me my love of music"

"Yeah and after she passed, it took the three of us to get her to even play another note" Luke says, gesturing to the three guys.

"Julie I'm so sorry" Mari says "that must have been really hard for you"

"Thanks. But I'm fine now. And I wouldn't have met the guys if it weren't for her" I say "Uh so how did you guys get into music?" I quickly change the subject, hoping they didn't ask more about how I met the guys.

"Well as you know, I was adopted. When I was thirteen years old, I found out that my birth brother, who passed away before I was born, really loved music and was in a band. I really wanted to have a connection with him so I started getting into music." Mari says. "Then when I was fourteen, I met my birth mom and she got me an electric guitar and I've been playing ever since."

"Wow that's so cool!" Reggie says "that's awesome that you're keeping your brothers legacy alive. Well I first got into music when I was ten. My parents were always arguing at home so I was constantly looking for extra curricular activities to do so I was at home as little as possible. So I took up bass and fell in love with it."
