"Do you, Aiden Acharya, take Arundathi Shah as your lawful wife?"
"I do."
I smiled at Aiden.
I know he couldn't see me through the veil, but who cares?
It's my wedding!
I have a right to smile everyday too!
Even when I'm wearing a veil that Nikki made for me!
"Do you, Arundathi Shah, take Aiden Acharya as your lawful husband?"
"I do."
"And you may-"
"OK! YEAH! CUT! PERFECT! Good job Mini. You were a great priest." Brynne yelled.
I scowled.
"Brynne, exactly how many times are we gonna have to "practice for our wedding" again?" I asked stubbornly.
"Aiden wasn't smiling! You gotta smile! It's your wedding day!" Brynne pouted.
"And Aru! Your veil was crooked." Nikki exclaimed.
Fashion divas.
"You have your own store. Don't you have to, like, I don't know, attend to customers?" I questioned.
"She closed the store for the day." Sheela answered.
I groaned aloud.
"Oh come on Brynne! We've been at it for like, the past two hours!" Aiden protested.
And that's when I realized he was still holding my hand.
"Don't say-"
"And I need to clean Shadowfax's lens!" he added.
"You care for that camera more than me." I grumbled.
"Aru..."
"I know, I know, I am more important but I don't need you to take care of me. Now go clean your camera and be back in.." I glanced at his watch, "Twenty minutes."
"Bu-"
"Ah! Time's a tickin'." I light tapped his nose and smirked.
He rolled his eyes and kissed my hand before leaving.
"Oh no need to be such a gentleman!" I called after him in a British accent.
"I'm sorry! Habits!" he shouted in a British accent back.
"Now, that veil."
---
"I am not wearing that thing again." I pouted with Nikki hot on my tail.
"But we need to practice!" she exclaimed.
"Brynne said practice is over." Hira interrupted. I looked at her, and she was frosting chcolate cupcakes with white icing. "So how are these for the wedding?"
