Manami went to the fridge to grab some soba that had been sitting in the fridge for about 2 days now while bakugo went to sit on the island.
"Will you leave me alone?" She asked and put the soba in the microwave.
"I have nothing else to do," He said and started playing with the strings on his sweatpants, "Are you really gonna eat that shit?"
"Why does it matter to you? Plus we have nothing else to eat," Manami responded.
Bakugo got up and went to the fridge.
"Yeah but there's plenty of stuff to make our own food. We can make sushi, yakisoba, rice balls, ramen, and even a fresh batch of soba," He told her and started grabbing ingredients.
"Yeah but that takes so much work," Manami responded.
"Let me guess, you don't know how to cook."
Manami stayed quiet.
"Holy shit the Princess has never cooked for herself before."
"Shut up!"
"This is gold. Even I know how to cook."
"SHUT UP!"
"And you had the nerve to call ME pathetic!"
Bakugo walked to Manami and handed her some noodles, broccoli, pepper, and mushroom.
"Hold these. We might as well make lunch for when everyone gets back," He told her.
Manami took the items from his hands and placed them on the counter.
"Make yourself useful and wash the vegetables," Bakugo said as he started to boil some water to cook the noodles.
Manami scoffed and took the few items to the sink.
"Check out the fridge and grab whatever else you'd like, I only took a bit to start it off," He told her.
"Yeah," she responded. Now Bakugo knew she couldn't cook and was going to tell the entire school.
"Do you know how to chop bell peppers?" He asked.
Manami had noticed a change in Bakugo's tone. He was much more calm and collected. She didn't mind being around this Bakugo.
"I've never done it but I can try," She told him.
"Here, I'll teach you," He said. He made his way to the counter where Manami was and placed a pepper on the cutting board. He chopped off the top and bottom and then pulled Manami to the board. He stood behind her and held her hands in his and guided them on where to cut.
"Move slowly or you'll cut yourself," He told her, "Easy, right?"
Manami's face was burning. She had butterflies everywhere. Bakugo was pressed up directly behind her lined up with every part of her body. She could feel every part of him.
"I think I got it now," She told him and turned to look back at him. Their eyes locked and Manami didn't even realize she was still chopping the pepper.
"Oh shit!" She shouted and pulled her hand back.
"You dumb shit you cut yourself while mesmerized in my eyes," Bakugo laughed, "Come with me."
He took her to the bathroom and washed off her finger. "It's not too deep so you'll be fine with a bandaid."
"Thanks," She said and put a bandage on her finger.
"I told you to be careful," Bakugo scolded.
"Well I was trying!" Manami responded. She was holding pressure on her bleeding finger.
