Todoroki and Manami had made it back to the classroom.

"God I just hate that damn Bakugo so much," Manami expressed.

"Don't let him get to you, that's exactly what he wants," Todoroki responded.

"Easier said than done," She said. Manami was spinning in her dad's chair at the front of the classroom while Todoroki sat in the chair directly across from her.

"I wonder why your dad didn't pair us up," Todoroki pondered aloud, "No offense to Bakugo, but I was top in the class last year and I got in on recommendations. Plus I took the wall down quicker."

"Probably because he saw how competitive him and I are," Manami responded.

There was a second of silence. You could hear the chair squeaking as she spun.

"Mani, how much more powerful than us do you think you are?" He asked her.

"Why do you ask?" She asked and stopped her chair from spinning.

"Oh nothing, it's just that Midnight asked if you were holding back for our sake and you said yes and your dad whispered something into your ear and you nodded to him. Plus it's completely obvious that you aren't struggling at all."

"Oh, well do you want me to be honest or humble?"

"Honesty always."

"Honestly, I could have you to the floor in a minute."

"Wow."

"Hey guys!" Midoriya exclaimed as he walked into the classroom. Everyone trailed not far behind him.

"Hey," Todoroki and Manami said together.

Everyone had taken their seats and Mr. Aizawa came in behind.

"Manami, no exceptions so get to your seat," He told her.

Manami got up and went back to her seat in the corner.

"Class today was pretty rough. You may all be dismissed for lunch and can head to the dorms after. I don't have anything else planned for today so just use this extra time wisely," Aizawa told the class.

"Hey Manami, want to head to the hot springs with the class today? We thought it would be a fun way to bond and spend our time together!" Uraraka asked.

"Oh yeah, I'll consider it but I have a lot to do for my dad today," She responded.

"Understandably. Just head on over whenever you can!" Uraraka smiled.

The entire class had exited except for Iida. Manami had come to the conclusion that whatever he had to say was important and she probably shouldn't interrupt. She decided to head back to the dorms and start homework.

At the dorms, everyone was getting ready for the hot springs.

"Are you coming along as well Mani?" Todoroki asked.

"I was thinking about it but decided not to. I have a lot to do and so little time," She responded.

"Suit yourself," He shrugged and left the building.

"Bye Manami!" Momo and Tsu said as they left.

Manami had the dorms to herself for the rest of the day. She could do whatever she absolutely wanted! First she headed to the showers to clean off her sweat and blood. The water was warm and she could taste the sweat falling from her hair. The gash on her knee burned from the soap but she didn't care. This was the best. She hasn't been able to have real home alone time since she started at UA.
