Patricia yawned. "Playing the hero, are we? Look dude, it's too late for that." She shook Cinder's lifeless body. "She's practically dead now. The power of poison types, am I right?~"
Tselic closed his eyes, and sighed softly. Patricia shrugged. "Sorry about that, idiot. I don't let a single-"
BAM!
Patricia stopped mid sentence as an all too powerful water bullet shot her. Tselic looked at her with a disappointed glare as he slowly walked up to her. "I'm sorry, did you say something?" He asked. Her eyes stared at him with horror. Tselic's hands made its way to her neck before grabbing on tight.
"Sera! Amy! Get Cinder!" Tselic yelled. "On it!" Sera yelled as Amy nodded. Patricia, with the last bit of energy she had, punched Tselic off of her and grabbed Cinder.
"You cannot save this worthless trash. What are you thinking?" Patricia scoffed. Tselic shook off the pain of being punched and lunged for her, but Patricia stepped back and held Cinder's body above the furnace.
Tselic looked at her with disgusted fear. "Step any closer, and I'll drop her in." Patricia hissed. Cinder's lifeless body dangled from Patricia's hands, getting closer to being dropped in. Cinder slowly opened her eyes and stared at Tselic with so much pain and despair. Sera glared at Patricia.
"What do you want from us so badly that you'd kill someone for it?!" She yelled. Patricia chuckled, then giggled, then cackled. "You would never understand."
The room was silent. All that could be heard was the crackling of the fire below.
"What we don't understand is why you would go through such lengths to murder someone." Tselic muttered.
Patricia's smirk faltered for a fraction of a second. "History is great, isn't it?"
Tselic closed his eyes and sat on the ground. "Even if it's about history, doesn't mean you have to continue the tradition." He crossed his legs and tilted his head down. "You know you're better than that, why resort to such heinous crimes that you have no true reason to do?"
The room was silent once more. Patricia was silent, even. Her grip on Cinder was loosened from grief of something.
Tselic's eyes shot wide open before, at the speed of light, darted for the both of them, snatching Cinder from Patricia's grasp, causing the Salazzle to fall back into the pit of fire, but grabbing the edge with her hand.
Tselic stepped back a bit and handed Cinder to Sera, then approached the edge where Patricia's hand was.
"And by atoning for your actions, you need to learn that not even Arceus will forgive you for what you have done."
Tselic's voice had a tone that was colder than ice. He pointed a finger at Patricia's hand, which was now slipping, and shot water at it, causing her to let go in pain before she started shrieking as she fell into the fiery pit.
Tselic stared down at the pit, his eyes narrowing for a bit, before turning around.
"Business is done, Cinder is safe, we can go back now."
(Yes I finally made a new chapter~)
