I heard a crack in a distance and Mr. Weasley disapparated from the hallway.

Bill hurried to me and I felt that my mouth finally opened and I hungrily took a breath with it. I also felt the ropes disappear and my body finally loosen. Bill picked my head up and I opened my eyes.

"Y/n can you hear me? Can you see me?" his voice was full of worry.

"Ugh... yeah."

I touched my head where I hit it the first two times and it started to hurt immensely.

"It's going to be alright," he started to pet my head.

When my eyes finally could see him clearly, I saw him frowning, looking at me and then at my left brow. Still with stars in my eyes, Bill helped me get up. I really didn't want him to carry me, but both of us realized that was the only option when I tried to stand up. I heard the footsteps upstairs.

"Are they alright?" asked Bill.

"Yes, everyone's okay, where is he?"

"What do you mean he's-" Bill and I turned to look at the men who carried me, but he was gone, "Dammit!"

Bill carried me upstairs into the room, everyone followed when we passed Ron's and Harry's room. I felt beyond tired, but still had the spirit to fight. From being carried on the shoulder to being carried in one's arms, I still didn't realize it was over. All my muscles were still tense, so when Bill put me down on my bed, I instantly tried to stand up.

"Easy, fighter," he said, forcing me back to bed, "you have to rest."

Everyone hurried to the room and was standing around the bed.

"Who was it did you see his face?"

"We'll talk about it later," said Mr. Weasley.

"Where's the potion I gave you?" asked Bill.

I pointed at the bedside drawer. Then Bill forced me to take the Sleep Potion and I passed out. When I woke up the room was empty and lit with sunlight. The sleep wiped the memories of the last night like it was in a dream. However, seeing the faces of everyone at the kitchen table, assured me that really happened and not that long ago.

"You didn't have to come downstairs, sweetie. I could've brought the breakfast to your bed," said Mrs. Weasley, hurrying down to me.

Everyone was watching me closely as if waiting for me to collapse any minute now.

"It all good Molly, I feel fine really."

Hermione tapped her hand on the table, inviting me to sit near her. I took a seat in between her and Harry.

"You know it's quite good to not be the center of everyone's attention for once," whispered Harry.

I let out a small laugh, it was good to know that at least one person here wasn't treating me like a poor victim.

"Do mean pity?" I said to him.

He laughed in response.

"Anyway, can someone tell me what happened yesterday? Who was it?"
"We don't know," said Bill.

"What? But you saw his face, right?"

"That's right, but I didn't recognize him. For all, we know it could be anybody. He also operated alone, which is rare for a Death Eater." Said Mr. Weasley.

"If he is one. It seemed like all he needed was just ... you" said Bill.

"Just me?"

"Yes, everyone else was just locked in the room with a spell, but completely unharmed," said Mr. Weasley.

I looked at everyone's faces, the twins' looking particularly guilty. The whole day no one would leave me alone for five seconds. All the youngsters were hanging out in our room, thinking I wouldn't notice all that abnormal activity in our space; and all the adults stayed in the house which was just as unusual and got me thinking they know more than they tell.

We were all hanging out downstairs after dinner and when I finally found myself a secluded corner, the twins joined me.

"We are so sorry Y/n," said Fred.

"If only we stayed for a few more minutes," said George before I could put a word in, "I cannot stand a thought we could have kicked this bastard's ass if only we stayed a bit longer."

Before I answered I noticed Bill was looking from the opposite corner and trying to listen to our conversation, though it was hard to tell whether or not he heard anything.

"But how could you have known? If anything, so much for my dueling skills..." I put my head on my palm again.

"It's not your fault!" said George heatedly, "Just wait till we find out who this prick was."

"And more importantly how did he managed to get inside," added Fred.

Although the conversation was over, they stayed sitting beside me till Molly called them to help her in the kitchen. The crowd began to finally disappear until it was just Sirius, Lupin, Bill, and me. Bill sat beside me while the other two were talking to each other across the room. I knew he wanted to talk, but before he could I needed to say something too.

"Thank you," I looked into his eyes trying to express something words failed.

"I did what... I mean when I saw you on his shoulder..." his fists clenched.

"Still thank you."

"Do you have any suspicions about who would go after you?'

"No, I don't, and honestly I'd rather forget this whole thing happened. I would rather go out and dance till my legs just refused to stand anymore."

We both laughed.

"Was someone there in your room before it happened?"

He of course knew the answer.

"Yeah. Fred and George were in my room, they left minutes before it all happened."

"I see."
