Chapter 15

3 weeks later

Grayson's pov

The long month is finally over. It is finally Christmas eve. Me and Chloe are in the living room with a suitcase as we were going to spend a few days at Ethan's. Yes, he managed to convince his parents in having me and Chloe over for the holidays, we both couldn't believe it. Chloe is jumping around, she's really happy to be spending time with Ethan for her favourite holiday, she's really impatient she can't wait for him to arrive to pick us up.

He rings the bell and she rushes straight for the door, opening it and jumping up in his arms as he catches her and she hugs him tightly. I smile at the scene in front of me as he put her down and I walked to him. He grabs my waist and pulls me in a soft kiss and I smile. "Hey gorgeous" he smirks and I laugh at his lame nickname but appreciated it anyway. "Hi E" I say softly and he pecks me again before turning his attention to both of us. "You guys ready to go?" he says with an excited tone and Chloe says yes while running around the living room, she it REALLY excited, and we both laugh. We get all our bags and go down to his car, packing everything into the boot and getting in, buckling up and driving off, Chloe in the back singing Christmas songs to the top of her voice that makes me and Ethan smile more.

As we open the door, we are greeted by the warmth of the fire that's lit up, candles everywhere and the delicious smell of cookies coming from the kitchen. I hum at the cosy atmosphere around Ethan's house. His family greets us as we take off our coats and we smile in return, Chloe's eyes sparkling at the beautiful decorations around the house. "We made the decorations extra special for Chloe" Ethan whispers and I laugh. "Well, she seems to be ecstatic over it" I giggle and he laughs softly too. She's gone to say hi to Cameron in the kitchen and is now baking cookies with her so Ethan decided to help me set up in his room. There is an extra bed set up, but we both know we will be sleeping in the same bed, still appreciate the thought. I put my suitcase on the extra bed and I get turned around by Ethan as he gives me a gentle kiss. "I'm so happy, you don't understand how excited I am to be spending Christmas together" he say looking into my eyes, his sparkling with happiness. "I am too Ethan, I'm glad your parents agreed, didn't think they would" I say honestly. I'm glad I got to spend this Christmas with the love of my life and make it extra special for Chloe too. "Of course they would, they love you to death" he says laughing softly. I've come over every week and his parents have opened more, they like Chloe too. These three weeks have been pretty awful and I'm happy to spend it with Ethan, finally some time together.

I've been working more to afford gifts for everyone and it was completely horrible. Many times, Ethan tried to convince me to that he would help me pay for the gifts but I insisted that I didn't want him too and that I could work more and it was fine. That was until I was completely burned out and he basically forced me to let him help me and I didn't even argue at that point. He also helped me choose the gifts for everyone: I got his mum a bag, his dad a desk set up and his sister a coffee bean set. He told me his dad's office was very messy and Cameron loves coffee and would prefer that over anything else, whilst his mum collects them so a good vintage piece would be perfect. I got my sister a barbie camper and Ethan I got a whole lot of gym equipment. He always complains how all his stuff is terrible and could really use more stuff but always forgets, so I took the initiative. But it's not his real gift, that's one I will be giving him in private.

I snuggle up against Ethan as we lay on the bed, cuddling in his side has he combs his fingers through my hair. Since I've been working more hours, we've had less time together so we have to catch up these few days. The rest of the day was a normal Christmas eve day, we watched 'The Grinch' and ate cookies with a normal dinner, eventually everyone going to bed and so do me and Ethan after a cuddle sesh full of kisses.
