Chapter 11

There it was. Right in front of me was one the buses that was going to bring me and my class to the planetarium for the two days. It was one of those big ones, like a tour bus, meant for the long trips so you can be comfortable. I was really grateful for that Chloe had a nightmare last night and I got little to no sleep, I also had to get up earlier to bring her to Kristina since she offered to take her in these 2 days while I'm gone. I get a seat and put my bag in the part above. I take the window seat and as soon as I lean my head against the window, I feel my eyes get heavy and I let myself fall into a deep slumber.

Ethan's pov

I climb into the bus really excited, not only for the trip itself (because I always preferred astronomy over everything) but also to spend time with Gray alone for once, it either school or his house with Chloe so at the end of the day I never have him all to myself really. I walk up the steps and I spot Chantel so I head over to her. I'm about to greet her but she starts talking. "Sorry babe this place is for Angie" she says with her stupid attitude that makes me want to roll my eyes to the heavens, "Oh yeah right, ok I'll just look for a different person to sit with" I say and she smiles widely going back to the conversation she was having with her best friend, not even giving a shit about me. I walk down the corridor and spot an empty seat. I'm about to talk to the person to ask if I can sit with them and I am greeted with a beautiful sleeping Grayson. I just sit down next to him, forgetting about my plan to ask him, he'll be ok with it right?

I get out my phone to pass time when I hear Grayson shuffle and suddenly, I feel a weight on my shoulder. He rested his head on my shoulder and is sleeping. It takes everything in me to not kiss his forehead but I manage, not before taking a picture of him to show him another time. I eventually put my phone away again and rest my head on top of his, falling asleep shortly after.

Grayson's pov

Hours later I wake up comfortably, not against the window like I remember. I look to my left and see a pair of hands holding a laptop while watching and then it hit me... I fell asleep on someone! I slowly look up and see its Ethan, him feeling my movement and looking down. "Hey you woke up finally" he says, pausing the film. "H-hi... how long have I been sleeping on you?" I ask slightly embarrassed. "Well since I sat down here so like 3 hours" he answers, looking at his watch to get the time right, and I blush, really embarrassed and he chuckles softly. "I'm sorry" I say softly, suddenly shy. "Don't be, I liked the contact" he whispered the last part and I smile softly. He offers me one of the headphone buds and I gladly accept it and lay on his shoulder, using the 'not being able to see' card if anyone were to ask, and he smiles before pressing play again. 

As the film finishes, we are about to arrive to our destination, that's perfect timing. We all get our stuff and follow the teaches into the planetarium, meeting with the guide alone the way.
It was truly beautiful. They brought us into a room, a projector pointing the ceiling, showing us all the starts and constellations, as well as the planets. They talked about the history of astronomy and its evolution, showing us a model of the first telescope designed by Galileo Galilei. After that they brought us to the observatory and showed us what goes on in them and even let us look out one of the telescopes. After the visit they lead us to the hotel where we had dinner, just simple soup and fruit. They then gather us in the hotel lobby, giving us our room's key to let us put our stuff away before letting us do what we want.

Me and Ethan get handed our keys and I rush up to my room, Ethan sticking around in the lobby talking to Chantel. I open the door and put my bag on the bed before noticing that all the rooms have balconies and I go outside straight away. The clean air makes me close my eyes and lean my head back in total bliss, taking long deep breaths of the fresh cool air. I hear the door of the room and I turn around to see none other than Ethan walking in with a smile. "Hey Gray I'm going to the hot tub, wanna join?" he says raising a brow at me. "Wait there are hot tubs? I didn't bring a bathing suit" I say with a shrug. "I mean you can always skinny-dip" he says, biting his lip while looking at my body. "You're a sicko" I say jokingly but sounding serious and he chuckles. "I'll think about it, you go" he nods softly, his mood suddenly changed, and leaves the room after having changed. Why was he so sad suddenly... was it because I said I'd think about it and not 'yes'? With that in mind I decide to just wear a pair of boxers, they will do just fine, and head to the hot tubs.
