The day of the Math competition.

8:28am

Jay still wasn't here. Jungwon hoped Jay would tag along but he's probably still sleeping but that doesn't stop Jungwon from hoping Jay would show up in two minutes.

8:30am

"Kids, time to go!" The bus driver honked the horn waiting for them.

"Guess Jay's not coming, I'm sorry Jungwon" Heeseung patted his back trying to comfort him.

"I told you, playboys like Jay would never change" Sunoo said stating that he's right all along.

"You're right I shouldn't have fall-"

Sunghoon interrupted Jungwon.

"No, don't say that I'm sure he probably got stuck in traffic" Sunghoon said.

"Why are you defending him?! He's a player! People like him find happiness seeing others heartbroken because of them!" Sunoo shouted at Sunghoon.

Sunghoon had enough of Sunoo always bad mouthing Jay.

"Listen" Sunghoon walked closer to Sunoo "Why do you assume Jay is like the rest? huh?" Sunghoon asked.

"Because he's just like you" Sunoo said jabbing his finger in Sunghoon's chest staring at him with eyes of fire.

"Babe" Heeseung asked confused and a little hurt "Sunoo keeps referring you to a whatever disgusting thoughts he has of playboys, why?" Heeseung asked.

Heeseung wasn't dumb he knew Sunghoon was hiding something from him but what was it?

Honk Honk

"I don't have all day guys!" the bus driver shouted.

Everyone entered the bus, the tension thickening as the second goes by.

They all sat on opposite ends not daring to look at each other. Jungwon checked the time again.

8:40am

Where is Jay?

"Hey sorry I'm late" Jay entered the bus with Jake following.

They both felt the depressing tension in the air.

Jake sat on an empty seat not wanting to be killed by anyone today while Jay proceeded to Jungwon's seat.

Jungwon quickly placed his bag on the empty space next to him obviously not wanting Jay next to him.

"Baby can I-"

"No you can't" Jungwon said not daring to look at Jay.

Jay sighed thinking what to do now. He's definitely not sitting three seats in front of Jungwon.

"Jay, sit down!" the bus driver scolded.

"Sorry Kevin" Jay apologized and decided to sit on the floor.

"It's dirty don't sit there!" Jungwon panicked.

"Well someone won't let me sit next to them" Jay pouted looking at Jungwon.

"There's a seat in front" Jungwon said pointing at the seat that was three seats away from Jungwon.

"But that's too far" Jay whined like a baby and Jungwon just laughed forgetting that he was mad at Jay for reaching late.

Jungwon was about to speak when Sunoo cut him off.

"Are you glued to him now, Jay? How pathetic" Sunoo scoffed assuming Jay's act is all fake.

"Sunoo!" Ni-ki shouted. Everyone turn their heads to the pair.

Ni-ki may be many things but he has never and I mean never shouted at Sunoo. Not earlier not ever.

This was shocking for everyone even for Jay and Jake who knew Ni-ki more than anyone else in the bus.

"I'm tired of you!" Ni-ki shouted out in distress.

Sunoo didn't look at him nor respond him he only stared out the window listening to Ni-ki shout at him.

"What's your problem with Jay? Huh? He has never done anything to you! I love you Sunoo but you're being unreasonable and a stuck up brat!" Ni-ki shouting and went to sit in front.

"Ni-ki's right? You spill all these mean things about Jay and it's gone too far. What's your deal?" Heeseung said.

Everyone knew Jay was trying to change for Jungwon but it's like Sunoo sees the opposite.

"Guys quit it" Jay spoke calmly "We're almost there and you guys have to save your energy" Jay said and Heeseung stayed quiet.

Jay removed Jungwon's bag and sat next to him resting his head on the back off the seat.

"Jay?" Jungwon asked placing his hand on Jay's.

Jay didn't bother to open his eyes or move he only hummed in response.

"Why is Sunoo like that?" Jungwon asked.

After a lot of thought Jungwon knows Sunoo would never say these things without a reason.

"It's nothing" Jay brushed it off not wanting to answer the question that will ruin what he has with Jungwon.

"Jay don't lie to me" Jungwon could sense Jay wasn't being completely honest with him and it hurt.

"I said it's nothing!" Jay shouted "You're so damn annoying" Jay said not realizing what he just said.

Jungwon didn't say anything and turn to the window letting his tears fall one by one, biting his lip to not let out a cry.

Jake was the only one you seem to be living a drama free life. I mean he always acts like he doesn't care right?

Well, you're wrong. Jake has suffered the worst out of everyone in the bus and ignoring his feelings is his way of not letting his emotions get the best of him.

Jake would silently listen to his friends argue about why Sunoo was like this? Or is Jay playing Jungwon?

Jake would only listen on the outside but hurt on the inside. Life isn't fair and not everyone has a happy ending.

"Jungwon, if only you knew"
