Riley walked down the hallway quietly, knowing the voices were coming from the door at the end of it. As she reached the end of the hallway, the voices became clearer, and she could make out the conversation.
"You should have listened to your orders more carefully, you wouldn't be in this mess if you had," the voice was feminine.
"I tried, but I couldn't get it. It was guarded by three men in black. They were from The Warrior's Hut, so I had no chance!" This voice was from a man, but he sounded afraid of the woman he was conversing with.
Riley heard the bullet of the gun click into place, and her throat tightened as she continued to listen to the conversation.
"You were given one chance and you blew it!" the woman screamed.
"I...I...I didn't mean to, just give me one more chance! I'll do anything!" the man stuttered.
"You were given one more chance a long time ago! That was your last chance!"
The gun sounded loudly, but Riley didn't move, she just froze. She heard footsteps coming to the door, but she still couldn't move.
The door screeched open quickly. The woman came out, looking both ways for any signs of bystanders. She caught Riley's eye, and gave her a wicked smile. She pulled out her gun once again, however before she could shoot, more footsteps rang through the hallway.
Still unable to move, Riley stood there motionless. She didn't say a word. The woman threw her gun beneath the waistband of her black jeans, and swung a fist at Riley. Riley slumped to the floor unconsious while the woman tossed her over her shoulder and ran off.
