"Are you sure you want to do this?" He said in amused tone while looked at Aaby.

Staring at his somewhat blurry face, Aaby smiled bitterly. She didn't answer for fear she will be wavered. She already realized that unknown man was just in her imagination from the very beginning.

She just didn't want to admit it.

The man, whom she could not recognize his face, talked again in serious tone, "You seem determined. No one will save you this time, if you think there will be one who will do."

She ignored him, who watched her from behind the door, as she stirred the drink in her hand. The white drink in the glass gave unpleasant smell but Aaby was unbothered. She continuously stirred it till she was satisfied.

She looked around, a messy almost dirty small room. She tried to capture all of picture of that room where she lived in for half of year after moving out from her family's house. A gloomy room which witnessed her daily life without end, a truly loyal one.

A small worn-out cupboard, above it there's a three-room shelf full of book. Trashed foods and its wrappings were scattered everywhere. Also a floor bed where she sat on.

She felt detached, like she didn't belong there. Her room was cramped full of things but she felt empty, numb, to be exact.

The small room felt too cold even at noon, a pity that she couldn't feel the coldness. It also was a pity that she could not smell the stinky trashes nor she could sense the touch of the floral blue pajamas on her skin.

Her eyes also somewhat described how she really felt, there's no light in it, no life, no excitement at all. Just pure darkness, a nothingness.

The man who stood still behind the door was disappeared like he was never there before. A ghost who comes and goes as he pleases, the only human-looking thing which witnessed her everything.

After she finished looking around, her eyes dropped down, staring to the glass which she forgot was in her hand. Thinking of it, she felt dumb so she laughed. She could not even feel her own body, more so anything beside it, how could she feel them?

How sad of you, Aaby.

Or she thought, she didn't even know what feeling is.

Only her mouth was laughing while her eyes didn't change its gaze at all. Fear she forgot about the drink again, she quickly drank it. Her brows was slightly frowned for she could not taste the disgusting drink, she drank all of it in one breath.

Seeing the empty glass, there's a faint smile in her face. She put the glass down on the floor beside her bed. She pulled the blanket over her body, there's a slight tremor in both her hands, as she lied down on the bed.

"Sleep tight, Aabyvida." She whispered to herself with her eyes closed.

Beside her bed, there was her phone glitching for a message. But she no longer was bothered by anything.

There's only silence.

[The soul is successfully encrypted.]

It was a voice of an old man with bland tone, full of laziness.

After some moments, another voice was heard. It was a monotone voice which could not be recognized whether it was man or woman nor it was old or young.

[Transmission is stopped.]

[Emergency Protocol is launched.]
