"So you're saying that you brought me here into this young lady's body and this young lady is your daughter. So, in a sense, I am your daughter."

She said as she stared at her own face on the mirror. The dimmed light only let her know that she had a baby face, or more likely she really was a teenager.

"I don't need a damn pretty face." Is what she said inside, fortunately she pretty much accepted all of those ridiculous facts. "Well, okay."

The light in her green eyes flicked brighter when she tried to focus on the mirror better. While the man flinched and asked in disbelief.

"That's it?"

She stared at his back, who washed the dishes in the bright kitchen a little bit far from where she sat, with a face 'what the hell you mean' look.

He stopped washing when didn't hear any response, he turned around and leaned his butt on the lower shelf. She could see him staring back at her.

"Is it your only reaction? I thought you will get mad or at least throwing a tantrum since I saved you while you wanted to die?"

"What nonsense he is saying now?"

She sighed, "Do I seemed like a girl who threw a tantrum when something didn't go as I want it to be?"

"No," he readily agreed then snickered with 'everyone knows you always throw a tantrum so do not be shameless and say otherwise' face.

He lied without blinking, "I'd love to see you throwing a tantrum."

Aaby ignored him and put down the mirror on the table, still amazed by her own body. From her hands only, it was spotless and smooth.

She grumbled in her heart, "Just how much useless this body could be..."

She wanted to observe every part of her body, but her power was somewhat dominated by something unfamiliar. She guessed it was a power higher in level than hers, she still unsure whether it was the man's power or not.

"Wait a moment, I'll finish in a bit."

She didn't respond but went down the chair and walked by herself to the window. She couldn't walk fast, there was something pressuring her.

She could feel--rather it was almost like an instinct--that foreign breeze that pressured and even made her bone tremble was energy, but not the energy she used in Earth.

"I don't realize mana can be this burdensome."

Not just that, the texture of the floor still bothered her even though the cold from the floor no longer overwhelmed her.

She touched the curtain, the fabrics was soft. It was ticklish, her fingers felt itchy.

She tried to grab it, only to sense her muscle moving. She quickly removed her hand.

Now, she could relate to them who hated worms. Because her muscle moved like those worms.

"What the hell is wrong with this body?!"

She sensed a quake before her, made her body vibrate along with it.

"What you doing there, Aaby?"

No, it was just him walking closer to her. Her nerves was giving false information to her brain.

She could think clearly while her body trembling even if nothing scared her.

"I really wanted to destroy this body right now," Aaby held herself to not lose her calm.
