Bakugo unlocks the door, Justin and I just behind him. "We're home!" He shouts, louder than he needed to as usual. Boomy, the golden retriever, walks up to us. He sits down as Bakugo rubs his gorgeous coat. "Hey baby boy, how are you?" He says in a baby voice I've never heard him use.
"How was your dat-" We walk into the room, when Maggie notices me she pauses. "Day out. Day out is what I was going to say." She sits on her brother's lap, staring at us excitedly. Marshall reads a book, adjusting the glasses he didn't wear on our first meeting.
"Fine." Bakugo opens a door, walking into the room. "I'm using the bathroom."
"So, do you like him?" The gay panic starts. Chloe twists her hair between her fingers, everyone putting their eyes on me.
"I - uh - um, I mean - Yeah, as a f- friend. A very good friend. Yeah," I scratch my neck, my entire body heating up as my chest gets tight. My throat goes sore as I lose all words.
They all smirk, looking at each other goofily, their tongue sticking out. They know? Was I that obvious? Lord Boomy sits down, panting in the corner.
"So, are you gay?" Marshall asks bluntly.
"Don't ask him that." Bakugo walks out of the bathroom, looking at his friends.
Justin looks at Bakugo knowingly whispering, "Gay panic?" He nods in response, glaring daggers at his friend for mentioning it. Did I hear him right? No, I couldn't have. When the motored boy notices my panicked expression he suggests we watch a movie.
"Yes! I know a good one that just came out, it's a horror!" Maggie yells, full of excitement.
"You start it. I'm making the popcorn." Marshall puts the bookmark in his very large novel, walking out of the room to presumably make popcorn.
"Thank you!" We all yell, Justin turning off the lights as Chloe and Maggie search for the movie. The girls sit on the floor, where Marshall will also sit next to his sister. While me, the pomeranian (AKA Bakugo), and Justin will sit on the couch. Of course they chose to have me sit next to Kacchan.
They play the Netflix movie, Marshall bringing in two large bowls of popcorn. As we watch the movie, we stuff our faces with the buttery treat. Every few minutes we end up grazing our hands, both flinching away with a blush forming on our faces.
When we were in UA, Bakugo would come to my room and watch thrillers and horror movies on my small laptop. It never scared us that much, and it was always a lot of fun. His favorites were the Chucky movies, he would always laugh at those. I loved The Shining the best.
A jumpscare pops up, a furry black demon thing with red eyes jumps out from behind a tree. His tail swooshes angrily. Maggie, Justin, and Chloe jump. Marshall sits there, still reading even though it's so dark. Bakugo merely yawns, his body slumping onto mine. The only panic I feel is gay.
We reach the climax of the movie, the main character holds a cross and surrounds herself with salt as she chants something in a different language, as my eyes start to close. It's nearly midnight, Bakugo leans on my shoulder just like at the library. Fast asleep. My eyes droop close, unable to stay awake as I drift into dreamland.
The last thing I remember is leaning back onto Bakugo, my hand touching his.
What is the delicious smell? I sniff the air, taking in all the delicious scents. Mmm bacon. I open my eyes, where am I? Looking around, I notice Marshall reading a book (big surprise) while Maggie and Chloe watch the news.
"Food's done!" Bakugo yells from another room, must be the kitchen.
"Yes!" Justin jumps up, running to the room, almost hitting the wall.
