First day at the new job.

Hermione and Sirius had their formal suits. Sirius wore a stripped olive blouse and a long dark red wine jacket, as he waited for Hermione. She wore a dark blue suit with a short skirt and heels. She pulled her hair back into an elegant bun; she looked like a sexy secretary. As they crossed one another in the second-floor hallway, Hermione was charmed by how elegant Sirius looked in his suit."
"Morning," she replied.
The pair walked awkwardly together until they reached stairs that comfortably fit only one person. Hermione was nervous enough and stepped down before him. As she did so, she cursed herself for this decision as Sirius lost his focus on her figure wearing the short skirt.
Before they flooed together to their first day of work, he held her hands strongly and said, "Good luck today."
As they stepped a foot into the Ministry, in a place one couldn't see the floor, all eyes were on them. A crowd of cameras and journalists started to gather around them as they walked.
Sirius was followed by loads of women. Hermione was followed by Rita Skeeter.
They managed to walk and skipped the fountains and the famous Wizards statue. Finally, they saw Arthur Weasley who nominated them for the job. As they went to the Head of Department, Mr.Ted, who was known as the most strict manager in the Ministry, stopped them in their tracks.
"Mr.Ted, I have heard about you many times," Sirius greeted his future manager.
"Let's hope good things came to your hearing, Sirius. As for you, Miss Granger, I have never been prouder until you joined my section. I am expecting a good things from you." He shook her hand and invited them to a cup of tea.
He shared their training plan for the next two months, showed them their work places, and their co-workers.
Sirius and Hermione seperated to their desks
They both had weeks and months to finish the training. Hermione never missed a day at work, and Sirius was spoiled by his manager who tried to please him and took pride in having the wealthiest man in England in his department, so he never minded his absence at all.
Sirius's desk was filled with ladies; each lady that stepped a foot at the department went directly to him, which made Hermione burn with jealousy. She couldn't see anything, but she could hear what happen behind the partition; she never heard a man's voice except Mr. Ted's.
"Sirius! Do you remember me?" a tall blonde woman in her mid-thirties who showed up wearing red, skinny dress asked.
Sirius raised his head and saw her. He paused for a minute before answering.
"You are... Angelina Robert? Hufflepuff, am I correct?"
"Yes! Oh my god, look how time passed by! How is life treating you?" she said with a seductive tone.
"Which one exactly?" he joked at her.
"Any one you choose; I believe the previous one wasn't very pleasant."
"Well, you're right... but it's getting better and better."
"It's the break hour now, care for a cup of tea at the cafeteria?" she said with twinkling eyes and a wide smile. Sirius did not know how to answer--he knew Hermione was hearing on the other side. He felt anxious but agreed.
Hermione started to loose her temper. She pulled out a parchment and sent an owl to Ginny, her relationships consultant.

Dear Ginny,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am progressing well at my training.

It's exciting, and I am feeling much better than before, but there is something that really pissed me off, and I don't know what to do about it. Those bitches are not separating from Sirius! "They make up just any excuse to come to his office! They're not just any type of women, too, most of them, I've heard, are his old school friends."

As you will come to Grimmauld Place this weekend, we better talk about this. I am beginning to lose hope.
Yours,
Hermione

She handed the letter to the owl and said, "Take this to Ginny, please. She's at the Burrow."
As the break came to an end, Sirius and Angelina went back to the office still chatting away. Hermione had her lunch break at her desk--she didn't want to go out for the sake of not making a crowd or seeing Sirius with other women who flirted with him shamelessly. She ignored this drama, focused on her training, and kept reading the Legalization book more than the Bible just to avoid making mistakes. She started to feel hopeless and waited for Ginny's visits.
The children's laughter and bicycle rings spread all over the avenues, and the dark polluted smoke covered the sky like a clouds at Spinner's End. Severus was spending his days at his home; he didn't reside at Hogwarts as he used to because the whole school was under construction. He supervised the rebuilding and went back to his home. It was a very new routine to him.
