(another CW, I'm sorry: contemplation of s****de. If you want to skip that, it starts right after "But when hasn't this place been torture for him?" and ends at "He needed to stay. He did." There's a small instance in the first journal entry, but it's brief.)

Three things were realized the next morning.
Dib groaned and rolled around in bed, trying to silence his phone alarm. It was somewhere next to him, he could turn it off so easily...
He turned to where the vibration was coming from, and opened his eyes to find it. He reached out and grabbed it from his pant pocket—which he wasn't wearing. Once it was shut off, he looked up and made his first realization: he wasn't in his room.
Where was he? It wasn't like him to not go home at night.
But it was like Pilot.
Ghost shot up, looking around. The walls had wires, there were cushions everywhere, and it was a bit cold. There was red and gray all along the walls, and his vision was a bit hazy. His glasses were off, but he could see his clothes on the floor...
And a sleeping ZiM right next to him.
There, he made his second realization: neither of them were dressed.
Dib looked down at himself and yelped—he tried not to wake ZiM up, but also knew he had to get out of there. Why was he there? Why was he nude? How was ZiM even sleeping, Irkens don't sleep?
Then, he made his third and final realization:
What Pilot did last night.
Ghost's stomach dropped, and he felt his head getting light. Not for a change of user, but for what this all meant.
As quickly as he could, Dib gathered his clothes and ran out of there. He did get a bit lost in the labyrinth of ZiM's base, but managed to get out. Get out. Get out. He had to. He had to get home. This wasn't good. This wasn't good.
What the hell?
What the actual hell?
Pilot... and ZiM?

Dib burst into his house, shaking. He aimed for the stairs, when—

"Hey, where the hell were you last night? Usually I could care less, but since—"

"Shut up! Shut up, let me go!" Dib cried out, launching himself up the stairs.

Gaz took a step back, opening her eyes a little in worry. "Bro.."

Dib locked his door tight, pressing his back up against it; his breath made many strange patterns, refusing to calm down.
