Y/N POV.

I stare at the man in front of me in horror and in fear.

Ive been betrayed.I never easily trusted people before.

Especially the fatui.The fatui was the reason I lost my childhood at such a young age.

The fatui tortured me I was just their pawn their little play thing.

I had no choice but to fight agaisnt them being given a pyro vision in the process.

I grip my sword tighter and flames start to erupt from my sword.

Childe looking at it unfazed already knwoing my fighting strategy thanks to our practice fights.

I start to shake and tears star forming and I start having flash backs.

'I was sitting peacefully at a tree just resting before I go to meat my Liyue friends.

I heard a footstep and suddenly became alert "Who's there?" I called.

A man came out in all gray clothes a Hydro vision mask and red scarf.

Strange he doesn't look like anyone Ive ever seen.

I ready my sword and he notices and puts his hands up in defense.

"No need to bring out your weapon now I'm simply a traveller from Snezhnaya.~"

I keep my sword sheethed as I walk away from him choosing to ignore him.

He panics and runs over to me "hey isn't it rude to ignore people?"

I decide not to answer as he continues to whine.

"C'mon~my names Childe how about you?" I sigh knowing very well he won't give up.

"Y/n." "What a lovely name~mind if I accompany you Y/n?" I roll my eyes at him.

He continues to annoy me and whine about how mean I was as I just listen in amusement.'

I look at my sword then back at him clutching my sword tighter to the point my knuckles go white.

I clench my teeth to not cry right on the spot as I lift my head up to face him.

I shakily take in a breath "tell me...was..was it all a lie..?The fun we had..the laughter..the joy..was it all a lie..?are my feelings for you a lie too?!"

More flames start to errupt and it becomes bigger Childe seeming to notice this too uses it as an opportunity to catch me off guard.

Luckily I dodge in time but still end up getting hit by him as he smirks in delight.

"Awe~you know I wouldn't hurt you~The tsaritsa ordered me too~but I know you'll forgive me won't you~?"

I stare at him in pure disgust "..like hell I would!" and charge at him.

Seems he already knew what I was gonna do because next thing I know I'm backed up against a wall.

I keep my head hung low as I hear footsteps.

I finally release my tears and they fall of my face.

Childe POV.

I see Y/n running towards me at full speed.They really are reckless when upset huh.

I dodge and hit them causing them to fly across the room and hit the wall sliding down.

It seems they've given up because they wouldn't get up.

Just hung tbeir head low crying.I didn't want to do this.I really didn't.

But Tsaritsa's orders so I must fulfil my duty.

It really breaks my heart seeing Y/n like this.All beat up bruised and in tears,what makes it worse is that I caused this.

I walk towards them as I hear sniffling coming from them I start slow clapping.

"Man~here I thought we'd have a more epic battle!" they kept silent.

I sighed kneeling down in front of them grabbing there chin to make them look at me.

Their eyes on  the floor as I sigh "you and I both know I don't wanna do this Y/n.."

"Just kill me already Childe." "Ouch~c'mon you'll forgice me right!"

"I made a mistake meeting you so you can fuck off." I sigh admiring them for a few minutes until they lift their eyes up to meet mine.

It hurt seeing those once amazing eyes full of hope and wonder now just numb and dead inside.

It hurt because I caused this I hurt them."I hate you..you're a cruel messed up killing machine.You're a monster.A fatui scum....yet I fell for you.."

I smile at them sadly dropping my weapon to hold them in my arms.

I craddle them as they start crying again in my arms and hold onto me.

I kiss their forhead and whisper "this monster loves you too..but I'm afraid we can't love eachother in this world...in a new time..I promise I'll revive you and we'll meet again..and then we can live happily together..next time I won't lose you again.."

I grab my weapon as I hold them in my arms as they smile holding onto my cheek and wiping my tears.

I grip my arrows harder as I stab them with it.

"AGH!" I wince hearing them scream so loud as they diein my arms.

I drop my arrows and bring them closer than me and whisper sweet nothings.

They might be gone but I promise I will revive them.Next time we will meet next time we'll live together happily.
