Mew POV

"Mr. Suppasit have you fallen for me already?" hearing that snapping me out of my thoughts.

"huh?" I gave him a question-mark expression. What did he just say? I fall for him?

He signaled at my hand "Oh!!" I realized I was holding his hand way longer than I was supposed to. With an awkward smile, I let go of his hand.

"Sorry, I just spaced out." I scratched the back of my neck awkwardly. Why, I am behaving like this?

I looked at his face to see his expression he chuckled. he might be thinking I am an idiot. Way to go for first impression as boss.

"It's okay Mr. suppasit. It happens to me sometimes. What can I say I am so mesmerizing people forget to breathe sometimes?" Hearing that I looked at him with confusion.

"Oh god, Mr. Suppasit I think you are the type to take jokes seriously."

"oh I was just a little bit distracted I guess" I laughed awkwardly at my stupid expression. I believed him for a moment I mean it might be true there is something different about this guy.

"by the way let me introduce myself. My name is Gulf Kanawut." He said with the most amazing smile.

"hello, Mr. Kanawut come on in... have a seat." I tried to get myself together. I am acting like an idiot right now. Mew get hold of yourself you are the boss here.

He sat on the sofa, that was arranged in my office. I sat opposite to him. Seating down with a smile "So, you might have already known about me?" he asked.

"ummm yeah, Eric hired you," I said trying to look like the tough boss.

"yeah, Mr. Eric was persistent," Gulf said

"Yeah, he is. So, when you are going to start working."

"right away. I have other jobs too so I have to finish here as soon as possible and get back to where I need to be."

"what? Another job? Get back? What do you mean by that?" I frowned in confusion.

"yeah, Mr. Eric already agreed. I am here only for 6 months after that I have to go back."

What! he will be here only for 6 months. Why? Is he not going to work here permanently?

"so, you are not going to work here permanently?"

"no Mr. Suppasit. I was not even gonna come here. But due to Mr. Eric's persistence, I had to come." He said.

Eric begged him.? That means he is good at what he does. But why can't he stay... I can pay him double if he wants. I can agree to his terms to keep him here if he wants to stay.... Again!!!!, what the hell I am thinking? He is just an employee.

"don't worry I am good at what I do and the problems your company is facing right now will be solved," Gulf said.

"no no, I am not worried about that. I trust you." Huh? I trust you??? I am surprised by the words spilling out of my mouth right now. He chuckled.

"thanks, Mr. suppasit. I guess it's the first time when someone said they trusted me in the first meet." Did he just tease me? God, why I am behaving like this?

"no no I mean you seem like a trustworthy person."

"thank you Mr. Suppasit."

"call me Mew." I just demanded out of the blue. Fuck what the hell I am doing today. Did I eat something wrong in breakfast? He flinched a bit and looked confused.

"no, I mean you can call me Mew." I forced a smile awkwardly.

"oh. in that case you can call me Gulf." he smiled again. Oh god, his smile is really like sunshine. His smile made me smile.

"yeah sure." a smile appeared, out of nowhere on my face.

"so, can you let me know where I can work? And can you show me all the files regarding past projects?" His tone changed as he talked about work.

"yeah sure. My secretary will show you to your office. If you need anything you can tell me or my secretary"

He nodded and got up and walked towards the door to leave. Don't know what came into my mind I stood up and grabbed his hand. He turned to look at me. And crooked his head to the side.

"Oh, I wanted to ask you for your number. If you need anything you can contact me directly." I said swiftly. He smiled. What he is thinking. Why can't I read this guy?

"sure. Give me your phone." He extended his hand. I took out my phone from my pocket and handed it to him and he typed his number and gave the phone back to me. And with a smile he said.

"give me a ring on my number I will save your number as well." Saying that he turned to go out of the room but he stopped and turned back again "it is nice meeting you mew" Saying that he gave me a sneaky smirky smile and left the room.

I looked at the phone and read the name he saved his number as, and it made me blush 'my crush'.
