"So, what do you plan after you announce to everyone that you're alive?" Timothy asked.
We are currently in his study. He is sitting on his table while I sat across from him, laying out my plan so far. The frown on Timothy's face seems like it found its new home since we entered his study. My brother cock-blocked him and from the looks of it, he's not happy with my plan.
"They won't believe you if you just suddenly announced that you are alive," he pointed out. "Even with a DNA test they can still claim that you are imposter. Everything can be edited now a days. They'll simply point out that you paid the hospital to alter the test results."
I nod. "I knew that would happen. This is the part where Adrian will be playing a huge role. He holds 75% of the company. He holds the say in everything."
"Not really," Timothy tapped on his desk, thinking. "Adrian may hold the most shares in the company, all the shareholders are all in favor of Ivan."
"Are you really a doctor or a businessman?" I teased him with a smirk.
He chuckled with my remark. "Dad and Mom are one of the shareholders of your company."
I...didn't know that. I look at him telling him to continue. "Last month, Ivan called for a meeting to remove Adrian as the main shareholder."
"What?!" I utter in surprise. "Why didn't Adrian say anything?"
"I don't know about him," He shrug. "I only knew about it from Dad. He called me telling what Ivan has been planning. Apparently, Henry and Ivan have been bribing and blackmailing the shareholders, even my parents, to vote to expel Adrian."
"Please tell me that they voted against the agenda," I prayed.
He looked at me as if I just betrayed him. "They would never do that to you or to your family, Olivia. They've been considering Adrian as their son and they would never betray your family with something as a petty bribe."
I felt relived knowing that he's family has our backs. "I'm sorry for doubting you and your family."
He nods in understanding. "It's okay. I would also doubt if I were in your position."
"But—"
"Olivia," He said with a firm tone. "Leave it."
I nod and a sudden thought occurred to me. "Tiffany knew who I was, doesn't she?"
He sent me smirk. "I was waiting for you to ask me that for months and yes Tiffany knew who you were, but I told her not to tell you. I explained to her your situation and why she can't just introduce herself as to who she is in your life."
I nod. "Understandable. I would have doubted her if she introduced herself otherwise, since I can't remember anything back then."
He leaned back on his swivel chair and study me. "What's on your mind, Olivia?"
I look at him, questioning. "What are you talking about?"
"Ask me," he said. "I knew you have that question somewhere. Ask me."
"How did I arrive here?" I blurted out. I didn't think to formulate the question, it just suddenly popped out like it was there hidden in my subconscious.
He sighs and stare at the wall opposite him. "Let's just say that I was in the right place and at the wrong time."
"What does that mean?" I asked as more questions suddenly popped out with his answer to my question. "Why did I wake up here and not at a hospital?"
