Angelica's POV

"Ssshh. Angei, tahan na. Wag ka nang umiyak." Sis Mitch said as she yakaps me and making haplos my soft and shiny hair. But she herself is also crying.

Humihikbi pa din me because I can't make tanggap that Sis Mae Ann is dead.

Hindi ako naniniwalang patay na siya o kung dugo niya yung mga nakakalat sa hospital bed. She must be somewhere, searching for food dahil hindi naman siya sumama to us kanina. But a part of me says that she is dead. I want to sabunot myself for thinking this way.

After that horrible scene in the clinic, naghiwa-hiwalay us to look for Sis Mae Ann. Hindi naman ganun ka huge tong house but the creepiness is lurking here! Nang mapagod, we decided na lumipat sa mas safe na place here sa Sakamaki house. Yeah, we didn't leave. Where else will we go anyway?

We're now at the second floor, inside a huge guest room I think. Lahat kami hindi maipinta ang itchura. Mga tulala at maga na ang mga mata.

And you know what? Nung lumabas ulit sina Kuya Bryll, Kuya Ruben, and Sis Pau to make hingi ng tulong sa mga owner netong house, they're nowhere to be found. Gaya ng nangyari to Sis Mae Ann.

"S-Sis Mitch." I mouthed.

"Hmm?"

"P-Patay na ba t-talaga si... si Sis M---"

"HINDI." she hardly said.

I gritted my teeth. Why did you even asked that pathetic question Angelica? You're insensitive and stupid as ever.

"S-Sorry." I want to cry more.

Hindi siya kumibo.

"W-Why d-do we have t-to experience t... this? A-All of this." mas hinigpitan me ang pag hug sa kanya.

She did the same. "I... I don't know either. Maybe God has a plan for us."

And what is that plan? I don't really get it. He has a plan of getting us killed? Bakit sa ganitong paraan pa? As long as I can remember, naging mabait naman kaming mga sons and daughters to our magulang.

"Is this a punishment?" Sis Shar blurted while frustratedly holding her head. Nakaupo siya sa tabi ni Sis Jansed. Nasa sahig lang din ang paningin niya.

"No. Wag kang mag-isip ng ganyan. Alam kong mahahanap din natin si Mae Ann at makakaalis tayo dito. Tutulongan Niya tayo." I admire the Kuya Bryll for being optimistic kahit medjo mainitin ang ulo niya. Pero nung sabihin niya yun, it's as if that he's not also convince on it.

Nanahimik na ulit kami. As in tahimik talaga. This is so not us!

"Lalabas ulit ako para maghanap kay Mae Ann." pagbasag ni Kuya Ruben sa silence at naglakad na towards the door.

"Nang ikaw lang mag-isa?" - Sis Pau

"Oo. Dahil tingin ko sa inyo, nilamon na ng takot at kawalang-pag asa." then he went out and shut the door.
