5: After Shock

You lye awake in the hospital bed, the doctors wouldn't allow you to have visitors yet demanding you to get some sleep, but you couldn't. You glance at the clock again and sigh. Last time you checked it was 8:00am now it was only 8:12am.one of the nurses enters the room. "Ms. Y/n you should get some sleep! I'll wake you in two hours at least sleep that much." You nodd your head suddenly feeling sleepy, then you stutter out a mumble, the nurse stops. "What was that?" You stutter it again but a little louder. "D-Do you think y-you can close the b-blinds please?" She smiles a sweet smile at you then walks over to the window closeting the blinds removing all traces of sunlight in the room. Then once the door was shut and the nurse had left the room was in pitch darkness. As soon as you place your head on the feather pillow you drift into sleep.

Here's

a quick explanation, you are in the hospital the day after the USJ insudent, due to this you miss hearing that the sports festival is coming soon.

You were released from the hospital that night but only from you constantly complaining that you were fine. Shockingly Todoroki came to visit you after school before Bakugo did, he then told you that the sports festival was in a few weeks. "I would like to train with you if you don't mind." He asked and you agreed with a small smile on your face. Then he helped you walk home excited for the next day of school.

"Hey Y/n, glad your back!" Hagakure says running past you into the school. "Hey, Katsuki!" You run towards him as he slowed down his pace walking into the school. He was walking with Kirishima and after whispering something in his ear Kirishima ran into the building catching up with Kaminari. When you finally reach him Bakugo starts speaking. "Listen Y/n, I'm sorry-" then you hug him "Thank you for protecting me. Midoriya told me you used to bully him because he was quirkless." He stares dumbfounded at your actions. "And I began to wonder why you didn't bully me, I don't believe that matters now. All I need to know is that your like my big brother, and for some reason I'm one of the few people that your care about and can tolerate." You let go of him and he smiles, but that smile avidly turns to his usual scowl. "Y/n! Don't hug me in public!" He yells and you giggle, then you skip away from him into the school building.

As you settle in to you seat with a smile on your face you feel pressure coming down on your shoulder. You flinch and the pressure goes away as you turn your head not able to stop the small smile at the familiar emotionless face of Todoroki. "After school, my house,that's our first training session"

As straight to the point as always.

You let out a sigh to small to notice and he walks to his seat in the back of the classroom, you look down at your palms on your desk.

I'm not scared of him anymore, he's just got a cold attitude and a powerful quirk. That's no where near as dangerous as mine, but I can't help but think he's warming up to me. I'm starting to feel not as anxious around him myself.

"Good morning class." You were surprised to see your teacher walk into the room both of his arms in casts and his face covered in bandages. Mr. Aizawa  may have only had the cracking on his elbow but the Nomu's broke some of his limbs in half. You shot your hand up in the air. "Ah yes, Ms. Amajiki, good to see you back." He said to you no hint of a smile in his voice as if he knew what you were about to do. Standing up you spoke " Mr. Aizawa, Sir! S-Sorry to be a bother but how are you h-here!? You were hurt way w-worse than m-me and your s-standing so st-stable while I'm barely walking m-myself!" The class was surprised at your outburst and by the look of their faces they had asked the same thing the day before. Your teacher let out a tired sigh then spoke "Ms. Amajiki you are excused for your out burst first of all. Second I am your teacher, and a pro-hero no less. I am here to turn you all in to hero's. Now please sit back down, it's time to begin class

It was the end of the school day and the teacher had just left the room but when other kids in the class like Bakugo went to the door a huge group of students filled the hallway; you knew you couldn't wait for them to leave. So you looked over to Todoroki, the two of you making eye contact. Then you mouth something "meet you outside." he nodded and you walked towards the door, past an angry looking Bakugo then snuck past the group of kids, using your quirk to turn into one of the kids you saw not to be noticed.
