7: Sports Festival(part 2)

You sat, eyes observing every detail, waiting for the right opportunity. Then it came, Midoriya ran into the crowd and started to dig up a bunch of mines with a piece of metal from the robots. Once he had a big pile of them he got a running start then landed on them using the metal as a sled he flew up and over the field. Todoroki and Bakugo noticed and stoped fighting. Once Midoriya was on the ground running a ways ahead you turned to your brother, then using your tentacles you grab onto them and pull sending yourself forward, and sending them back a bit. You ran behind Midoriya, careful enough not to let Todoroki or Bakugo pass you but slow enough to stay behind Midoriya. Then you ran across the line gaining second. Todoroki was right behind you and got third, not far behind came Bakugo coming in fourth. You tried to talk to Bakugo but he was mad, but only at the fact Todoroki and Midoriya beat him. Not that you did.

Ugh. You better remember your promise Katsuki

"That was good what you did. But I'll beat your next game." Todoroki says walking up behind you. You just let out a chuckle and punch his arm playfully "I doubt that, but whatever helps you continue to fight."

Once the rest of the students passed the finish line the ones that moved on gathered near the stage again. The game was chosen and it was a cavalry battle. Each person had a send of points and starting at the bottom it went up by 5. Some would say you had a huge target on your back but it was nothing compared to the first placer. Midoriya had 10 million in points on his back. So this would be a fight to whoever got the 10 million. Miss Midnight then told you all you had 15 minutes to form teams. You put a determined look on your face and pushed past the students who were heading towards Bakugo, and he did the same. you heard the crowds in the stands gasp in unison. "Woah! Amajiki and Bakugo are going to be on the same team?! But their both high placers why would they want to work together?!" Present Mic calls from the commentators box. "Amajiki and Bakugo have a close relationship so this might turn out as the best team up we've seen in a festival or the worst." Mr Aizawa says. "What might be their downfall is they are opposites. Bakugo is hot headed and has a major ego, while Amajiki is quiet and shy. She also has low self esteem. Not to mention how Bakugo fights on pure instinct while Amajiki uses her brain to plan multiple full proof plans. We saw that in the obstacle race." You slightly smile at the attention you were getting. "Okay Katsuki heres the plan, your going to be our rider but you will listen to my directions got it?" You speak once reaching your best friend. He nodded with an evil grin on his face, you looked at your classmates who had surrounded you. "First of all we need Sero. He will be a key to our secret weapon."

"TAPE ARMS!" Katsuki calls at the black haired boy. "I got your guys's back!" He smiles at the two of you. You put a hand on your chin thinking aloud. "I have both of my rear horses but I need my front horse. Katsuki, Sero, where is Kirishima?"

"Right here Amajiki, you need me as the front horse because I'm immune to Bakugo's blasts."

"Yes." You looked at your competition as the crowd around you dispersed. Todoroki had a strong team with Yaoyorozu, Iida and Kaminari. Yaoyorozu was already making something with her quirk. Then you looked to wear the 10 million stood with Izuku Midoriya. He had Uraraka, and a pink haired girl from the support corse showing him a lot pf gadgets. "As you can see." You start as your point at Midoriya. "Midoriya has Uraraka on his team which means light mobility. Not to mention all the gadgets he'll have from that support girl. So what can we assume from this." Bakugo speaks up. "Pink cheeks can float people. She'll bring them in the air."

"Exactly! But Katsuki you have air mobility to! And with Kirishima as a front horse you won't hurt anyone when you blast into the air. Heres where Sero comes in. When Katsuki jumps it will be Sero's job to bring him back to us. I can focus on defense and watching out blind spots. Does everyone understand?" The three of them nodded confidentially. Then Kirishima speaks. "I must say. You must really think this will work Amajiki. I've never heard this much confidence in your voice!" You use your hands to cover your face in embarrassment. "M-Me and Katsuki made an agreement before this that if we had team events we would work together. He has the power and instinct I lack while I have the awareness and multi step planning he doesn't. We may seem to be opposites and people must think that we will fail but these opposites make is a formidable foe." Bakugo scoffs at your cheesy comment and Sero runs off to get the headband. "Don't worry Amajiki." Kirishima speaks patting your shoulder a bit. "No one will look down on any of our abilities after we get that 10 million." You tilt your up at him and smile.

"Don't move!" You shout at your team as the battle begins. "Don't attack yet or we will be caught up with everyone else attacking!" You stare daggers over the crowd of attackers and as soon as you saw jets blast upwards you shout. "KATSUKI GO! Sero get ready to real him back!" As soon as Bakugo jumps you look around to make sure no one was coming near while keeping an eye on where Midoriya was in the air. "Damn it! They've landed! KATSUKI! Your being brought back!" Sero realed him in and you called for the group to charge at Midoriya. "Katsuki get ready to jump! Uraraka's foots stuck so they can't run!"

"Got it!" You stop running as sero calls out. "Look their off!" But Bakugo was already in the air. "Kirishima watch us." You ask turning into Jiro. As he agrees you focus on sending the jacks up into the air sending support to Bakugo. Bakugo was about to send a blast at Midoriya but Tokoyami's Dark Shadow sending him back. Sero grabs onto him and as he rained him back in you tried to attack with the earphone jacks but Dark Shadow kept knocking them back. "Ugh!" You call as Bakugo lands back and you go back to yourself. "Nice catch!" Kirishima shouts to Sero. "Amajiki I think their grounded now. The boot that was stuck to the ground had the jets ripped off. I saw when I Jumped."

"Got it, I'm going to turn to Uraraka so we can move faster." You use Uraraka's quirk and then the four of you ran towards where Bakugo saw Midoriya land. You were barely focusing on where you were moving and more your surroundings and that was very helpful when you saw a team with a blond up top running towards you guys hand out trying to grab Bakugo's Headband. You quickly turned into Kaminari and as they passed you grabbed one of them using the quirk electrocuting all of them. "Katsuki look out they're coming back for another attack! Instead of evading lets get those headbands!" Then their rider started to insult Katsuki and our team. "Wow the great class 1-A's Bakugo has to rely on a girl to be his brain? Thats just sad!" Katsuki started to get mad. "DO NOT INSULT HER LIKE THAT! SHE COULD WIN THIS BATTLE ALL ON HER OWN! DIEEE!" And all of you charged. Bakugo swung an exploding fist at the rider but he just dodged and sent the explosion back at him! "I know who you are Monoma! Initiate plan switch!"

If we run into someone with a quirk like mine I will call plan switch. We will rotate so I am the front horse.

Bakugo quickly jumped in the air as you, Kirishima, and Sero Rotated so you were up front, Bakugo then landed back on you. "How do you know my name!" Monoma shouted in confusion. "In a school like U.A. you have to know who your competition is. You have a quirk like mine which makes you my competition." You speak deadly calm, the two teams circling each other. "You can copy your opponents quirk but can't copy another quirk while using the one you already have copied." Their team stops circling and stares dumbfounded you smile at the perfect opportunity. "Now!" You turn to Jiro, sticking the earphone jacks in them and immobilizing them with shudders from your racing heartbeat. Sero then tapes them to the ground, Bakugo then grabs their headbands and puts them on his neck. Then Bakugo shouts "NOW LETS GO KILL DEKU!"

"Yeah!" You all shout, then charge at Todoroki's ice you quickly turn to mina and melt the ice in seconds. "Katsuki now!" You call and he jumps. "DEKU!!!!" He shouts and you wince at the explosions forgetting to turn to Kirishima. Then you realize that Midoriya doesn't have the headband. "KATSUKI! Shoto has it!" He immediately changes direction heading straight for Todoroki. But time is called. "D-Damn it!" You call dropping Sero and Kirishima's hands and placinf your own on your temple as you sit. "W-We were so close!" You shout again and let out a sob. "Relax Amajiki." Kirishima says sitting down next to you. "Be happy we moved onto the tournament."

"Y-Yeah your right." You say tiredly wiping a tear off your face. Then standing up you walk over to where Bakugo fell and hold out a hand helping him to his feat. "Don't worry. Next chance I get I'll be fighting him head on. Not relying on your crappy speed to win." He scoffs and faintly smiles. "And when I get to kick his ass I wont have to rely on your dumb plans." You smile knowing he didn't mean it and punch him lightly. "Jerk."

"Stupid Nerd."
