It was 1 am the next day, you were asleep but there was a ding from your phone and you snapped into attention from your restless slumber. You turn over from the wall to the small table on the side of your bed with a lamp and your phone. You then open the text.
Come outside, I'm at your front gate.
Surprised by the request you didn't ask why just grabbed a pair of sneakers, slipped them onto your feet then grabbed a jacket from your closet, not bothering to touch your pajama pants. Then opening your window you hop out from the second floor landing in the flower bed quietly. Then avoiding the flowers you headed to the front gate to see Todoroki. Todoroki was standing there calmly in jeans, a white T-Shirt and a black jacket. His eyes lit up when he noticed you in the darkness of your front yard. "H-Hey Shoto."
"Hey Y/n, wanna walk with me?"
"Sure, I'm not getting any real sleep anyway." you jogged to his side and the two of you start on the side walk to the right of your home. "What do you mean by not getting any real sleep? Oh my did I wake you up?" You smile at his concern. "You woke me up but its fine, I was asleep but I wasn't resting. Know what I mean?"
"Yeah, that makes me feel better about coming over."
"It's fine Shoto, Now why did you want me at 1:00 am in the morning. Isn't today and tomorrow supposed to be a rest day?" He chuckled. "Right, right. Tomorrow I'm going to visit my mom."
"In the hospital?! Are you allowed after all this time?! Does your Dad know?!"
"Yes, yes, and no. I will not ask my old scumbag of a father for permission." You giggle at the creative name. "I'm happy your finally going to see your mom again Shoto."
"I guess I'm happy to but... but I'm nervous... I want you to come with me." You were shocked, he wanted you of all people to come with him?" "Wh-Why me? Wh-Why not one of your siblings instead Shoto?" He smiled gently. "Because you were my first friend, I trust you." A small blush creeps onto your cheeks. "Plus my brother isn't home anymore he's always at college, and Fuyumi won't go without Dad's permission. She'll ask too many questions that I don't want."
"Okay then." You decided. "I'll accompany you to see your mother Shoto."
"Thank you Y/n" Then he wraps his arms around you pulling you into a hug. Blushing you place your head on his chest and smile as you wrap your arms hugging him back.

"Bye Dad! I'm going out!"
"Have fun! Be back in time for dinner!" The door shuts behind you and you start your walk to Todoroki's house.
When you arrive Todoroki had just exited his house to his sisters complaint and questioning. You smiled at his very plain casual outfit compared to yours. You were in a short yellow dress with white sneakers while Todoroki was wearing sneakers, black jeans, a light blue T-Shirt, and a Navy jacket. "H-Hey Shoto!" He looks over noticing you and jogs over, the two of you start walking. "I'm surprised you got here so early, I was going to meet you halfway."
"I couldn't wait so I left early." Todoroki chuckles under his breath but you still heard him and got flustered and lightly punched him in the arm. While walking you found yourself walking past a mother and her daughter you smiled at the family and looked back up at Todoroki to find him lost in thought.
I'll leave him be.
He finally looks up when the hospital was in sight. "You can do this Shoto, if you become nervous remember I'm right behind you." He nods with a look of confidence in his eyes and the two of you enter the Hospital. "Hello, will you please tell me which room Rei Todoroki is in? We are here to visit." You ask the receptionist when it was your guys' turn. "Before you say no I'm her son." Todoroki buts in quickly. The lady at the desk smiled kindly at the two of you and gave you the room number and directions pointing down a hallway behind her.
When you reach the room Todoroki reached towards the door handle, but he stops, then you place your hand on his shoulder. "Come on Shoto, your so close." You speak quietly and calmly, then he opens the door. You get up on your tippy toes and see over his shoulder a women with long white hair looking out the window. Todoroki walks inside and you follow closing the door behind you. "Hello mom." Todoroki says, then her head turn towards the two of you.
Her eyes are brownish gray just like one of Shoto's
Todoroki walks forward but you stand still, this was for him, you were just emotional support. "Hello Shoto." She smiles, and your eyes water a bit when they hug.
