3rd Person's Pov
"Fight... Fight..." Eren was staring intensely at the mirror. Without realizing, Hange was waiting outside of his cell.
"What are you doing?"
Eren looked at her, finally noticing that she's been there for a while.
Hange continued, "Were you just saying, 'Fight. Fight,' to the mirror just now? Hey. You said 'Fight. Fight,' didn't you? By 'Fight. Fight,' what are you fighting? If you're saying 'Fight. Fight,' does that mean there're two fights?"
Eren didn't answer. "Keeping quiet isn't helping. Normally, people don't talk to themselves like that. I know I've never talked to myself in the mirror before. By the way, I think your hair is so cool. When it's all disheveled, it's kinda like you're hard-working and carefree."
"What did you come for?!" Eren suddenly yelled
"What? To talk, of course. The first time we met, didn't we talk about Titans all night? Though you mostly listened as I blabbered on and on. I honestly believed you would never sacrifice both Historia and Y/N. I mean, it's kind of obvious you would never sacrifice Y/N but I bet you knew Historia would suffer as well."
2 Years Ago
As the scouts were talking amongst themselves, Y/N was dozing off against the wall like she always is.
"Y/N... Wake up! We have to do the meeting" Eren poked Y/N's face
"I'm awake... You didn't have to poke me that hard you big massive idiot" Y/N mumbled
She noticed that her sister was smiling along with Mikasa. Y/N smiled.
"Guys, let's go. We're probably the only ones left here outside" Y/N giggled
"You're one to talk" Eren scoffed
"This scene is making us feel incredibly single, you know" Historia laughed
'It's a historic day for both of our nations. Today is only possible thanks to the one who brought us together, Zeke Yeager. After meeting with him in secret, we agreed to an arrangement under the condition we were able to meet Lady Mikasa. Zeke Yeager said if we were to cooperate with him, our nation may just helm an industry that restores it to it's former glory. And yet, he hasn't even prospected your reserves. But a resource like that in this age of modernization would be worth it's weight in jewels and treasure." Lady Kiyoomi said
Everyone felt a bit unsure of this statement.
Y/N then asked, "And? What exactly is the arrangement you have with Zeke Yeager?"
"As you know, Zeke Yeager has a secret plan in mind. To achieve it, Hizuru's cooperation is needed. Here are his three points to protect Paradis with the rumbling. The first is a test run of the rumbling-- to release a sample of it's power and show the world it's devastation. Next is Hizuru's cooperation. Your military must be strengthened until use of the rumbling isn't necessary. Lastly, The Founding Titan and a Titan with royal blood must be passed down. That's the third point. Zeke will pass on the Beast Titan to someone with Royal Blood. Until their 13 year term ends, they must bear as many kids as possible. Even if weaponry advances, the rumbling itself is powerful. Unless we get rid of it, inheriting Titans will continued for generations to come." Lady Kiyoomi continued.
"Very well. I will inherit the Beast Titan. As long as the rumbling is tied to our survival." Y/N answered
"I'm really sorry to interrupt but Y/N's too important for Paradis. I'll inherit the Beast Titan." Historia spoke up
"After years of getting trampled on, now we've gotta breed like livestock? If that's the price of getting to live, Zeke Yeager can take his damn plan and shove it! It's too dangerous to gamble on having the rumbling. We need to spend our time exploring what other options are available to us." Eren grumbled
"I... The three of us will discuss this later on but for now, we'll have to think about everything" Y/N sighed
Back to Present Day
"You should know I felt the same sense of urgency. But I still don't get why you went on your own and put the island in danger. Don't you care about Historia? Or even Y/N? She even followed you to Marley."
"I ate the War Hammer Titan. It has the power to harden through the ground and make whatever it wants. In other words, there's no prison deep or strong enough to hold me. I can leave whenever I want. I have the Founding Titan and you can't kill me. You can't kill Zeke either, even if you threaten to. So, Hange... What is it can you actually do?" He grabbed Hange's shirt and continued, "Tell me, Hange! If you've got something up your sleeve, let's hear it!"
Eren was about to transform but Hange managed to make Eren let go.
"Eren you pervert! Still in a rebellious phase?! You moron! Idiot!"
She went back upstairs and slumped down the door leading towards Eren's cell.
"Erwin, you only made one mistake in your life. Why did you make me commander?" Hange mumbled
Suddenly, someone entered the room.
It was Y/N.
"Oh? Hange?! Are you okay?!" She questioned
"You're here to talk to Eren even though you're really injured, right? I won't stop you this time. You have three hours"
Y/N was a bit shocked but entered the hallway leading to Eren's cell happily.
